I use an old fashioned scrubbing brush, its good for the diet too as its very hard work,
I too would be interested in an easier way.

Scrubbing Brush:eek:
Too much like hard work and you'll have micro scratches in your finish that will attract muck.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I use a bona spray mop. Best thing I have ever bought!
Our whole house is laminate with lino in the bathrooms so this has been a life saver. The laminate and lino have grooves and it takes minutes to do the whole house.[STRIKE]Debt 01.01.2010 = £70,000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Debt 01.02.2011 = £53,495 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Debt 05.05.2011 = £51,959 [/STRIKE]

Daily i brush it all with a soft brush, hoover up any bits and wipe all floor with damp dettol dishcloth then weekly i use a very well rung mop and give it a good clean over. Ours isnt protected by waterproof coating so i dont put as much water down as i do on my tiles.Want to be debt free by Jan 2014 after letting things sprial out of control

i think a quick hoover or dry mop everyday and a well wrung out mop 1/2 times a week should be enough i hope, really hoping i dont need to get on my hands and knees to do it lolHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

Hi,
I've just had laminate laid in the hall, downstairs loo and kitchen and have been hoovering it and giving it a quick wipe when there's dog footprints etc on it.
But, it will obviously need a proper clean - I've seen laminate floor cleaner in the supermarket (about £2 for a squirty bottle) but wondered what others used?
Thanks!0 -
I have got on both hands and knees before and used wet wipes, they worked a treat. Some water and lemon juice works great too, the idea is not to soak the floor or you will be in deep trouble.0

Hi WelshWoofer,
This thread should help:
Cleaning laminate flooring???
I'll merge your thread with that one later to keep the suggestions together.

I second the use of baby wipes. I have laminate in the lounge and dining room, have used cheap value baby wipes for years on these two areas and had no problems, if you use a mop and a wet solution, you could easy lift the floor.
If you have problems getting down on your knees, you can buy a mop head design for floor wipes, Lakeland do them I think. Not cheap, but not as expensive as replacing a laminate floor if you over wet it.0
