    Morning,

Up bright and early today. Mainly because cat number 1 was being a prat.
So far I have done the cat litter and put WM on. Gona push the vac round in a mo and change our bed if I can get cat number 2 off it.
Need breakfast too, then leaving for DMs at about 9.45. Gona stop at Mr Ms on the way for cat food and a few bits for butties in the week.

    Hello all :)
I am still around, lol :) Although I haven't been on here much I have been decluttering and doing dallies :) Have had a lovely weekend so far - hope you all have :) Friday night I had 6 teenage boys aged between 13 and 16 including my own two here for a sleepover and in all fairness they were good as gold :) Last night DS1 slept over mate's and hubby was in work so me and youngest had a chinese and watched BGT - the Highwaymen were good ajmoney, (good looking bunch too :) ).

msgnomey - I know exactly what you mean and it stinks! But turn it around in your head hunny that it's not a case that you are not good enough for them - they are most certainly not good enough for you! I work in a FE college and whilst I love my job I have to re-apply and go through interview every year for it and tbh it's starting to feel quite demeaning :( I'm applying for schools everywhere around me now :) New beginnings are fab though :)

    Back to flying now :)
First lot of washing is on the line and second load has just finished so will get them on line and put another load on :) The I have so much to do I don't know where to start - although America Flylady Marla has popped into my head now - shiny sink, lol! And now Julie Andrews has popped into my head - 'let's start at the very beginning, it's a very good place to start' la la la la la, lol!

Ok going to sort washing and shiny sink and I will be back some time in a little bit :)

    Love and hugs everyone :)

    Morning all

We had a bit of a lie-in and I'm just coming round with a cup of tea. Today's list (most carried over from yesterday)

    breakfast
    laundry
    lunch
tea (need to put pork joint in SC)
    homework with DS2
    school work
talk to DS1 about his commitments for this week
    small list of errands
    be in bed by midnight
    so something fun with DS2
    get bags/chlothes ready for tomorrow
clear the space behind the dryer in the kitchen so I can get out through the back door and we don't have to use entrance next to neighbours house (I currently get v. angry looks from her - not that I'm really bothered)

Have put washing on line and more in machine :) Fed animals earlier - bit of a must-do really, lol! Youngest awake now so breakfast and shine this sink :) Then I'll decide what to do next - hmm will have a look at original list on first page to help me :) Thank you ladies - pigpen, toots and asbo for always keeping things organised and setting us lists xx

Just looking at original list and have put bedding in WM - that was my third lot of washing this morning :)
Also forgot to say - started my save a pound a day from 1st of May and have saved £15 :j I bought a moneybox from poundland costing umm a pound, lol - the type that you can only open via tin opener - we also have a cow money box that we can open whenever we want in which we chuck loose change into and then delve into when we're stuck but I didn't want my pounds disappearing. Was a bit stuck the other day but the fact that I would have to ruin my lovely tin moneybox stopped me from opening it so it works :)
Right I'm procrastinating a little now so best go shine that sink :)

  • Off to work in a min, on my own today so don't mind:)

WM x 1, now on line, bit dull though, very windy so should dry or end up in next doors garden!

    Kitchen tidied.

Made fairy cakes and banana loaf last night whilst keeping an eye on Eurovision, I liked the Moldovan entry, the girl on the unicycle was cool :T

Must finish on line application for job today and sort school/college things.

Cottage pie for tea, half made in the fridge just need to do mash when I get in from work.

Lady who has loads of old magazines, sorry forgot your name, my mum always recycles her's to the charity shop and then buys new ones there, she often gets expensive mags for 10p.

Have a good one, hugs Pixie

Quite cloudy here so not sure if we are going to get a bit more rain; I have loads of washing to do so could be spending part of the day dashing in and out.

    Plan:
    Dailies
    Tidy/dust DS3 room
trip to dump/pc world with DH
HHG - front and water veg
Finish street party lists and deliver
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

Feeling very yuk today. No energy at all and very dizzy when moving. Have been in and out the bathroom which doesn't help. Still in bed at present but will have to get up to make dinner soon.

OH and kids will be stripping beds so lots of washing and drying to do later.

Hopefully will be feeling better tomorrow and can try and sort a few more hotspots in the bedroom that I failed to do this week. :(

Pixie FairyDust: Think it was me that mentioned the mags. Will get OH to try one of the many charity shops we have here.

Cat: So glad you found your ring. I lost the one I bought with my first weeks wages (actually OH lost it as I gave it to him when I was in labour). It would never fit now but would have been nice to pass to my daughter.
