Glad to hear it's turned up, cat.

Mum always asked St Anthony and promised to light a candle if the item turned up. Even though she was not religious, she always found a church (often on holiday) and paid her 'debt'. St Jude will receive a petition from me in the very near future, as I can think of a few lost causes...the house being one. ;)

I have a BIG frog to deal with, too - which I think needs breaking down into tadpoles. If it's not too much of a mixed metaphore, it's a real Elephant Task..... sorting out my clothes, and finding out which fit and which don't

Tadpoles are the way to go, I think. You could decide on a number of items a day, or try to get through a particular category in a week. Would you be able to try a few as you get dressed/undressed, anyway? Don't think this is the best place to discuss incentives for DH, though. :p:D

DSs and I went shopping in our little town centre, but missed the post office as DS1 was too slow to get ready. The parcel is likely to be heavy, so I wanted him to help me carry it. Should have set off withouth him. Spent more than expected in Jack Fulton's, but there were some great offers. Also have pork joint and fruit and veg and it's all put away. Debating what to do next. I might go down the road to my friend's. I bought her some curry sauce to replace what I borrowed yesterday.

I'm really tired, despite getting more sleep the last couple of nights. I'll finish lunch with a hot drink and see if that perks me up. Can't really afford to waste the nice drying weather we've got today, but I feel washed out.

My frog moved :( It was the ironing (done that) now its going to Mr S and getting my very fave icecream as a treat............think I'll quickly tidy downstairs as that's the next frog. I seem to have a lot today!

Toots - lol! I'll always come back.
Lamewolf - that was a good idea above, or try 2 items a day. One when you get ready in the morning and one when you get ready for bed! have a bag ready for those you want to get rid of and those itty tadpoles will be swimming away in no time!

    Anyway...............lets go get frogs.............

Many thanks, both of you; I just showed Mr LW your posts, and he's in agreement.:T
We've decided to do it thusly:
    1. Empty a drawer into a plastic crate.
    2. Replace in the drawer items I've worn recently so I know are OK.
    3. Work through remainder of crate, one item at a time, probably using 1 step's idea, and place tried item either back in the drawer OR in the RSPCA box. Just doing one item each end of the day won't use up all my spoons.;)
    4. Repeat with next drawer once the crate is empty.

Once that's done, then I shall see about having a rearrange of what lives where, so that I have (f'r instance) all long-sleeved tops in the same place, which they are most emphatically not at the moment; I was going try and do that at the same time, but I think making it a separate exercise is a better plan, on reflection.:o

It'll take a while, but at least it'll get done, which is better than we're doing at the present.

And, of course, having declared the intention on here, we have to get on and do it!:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Yup. Big weight off the shoulders. DH has been suitably rewarded;)

Didn't get the other ROD cleared though. Think I'll try that tomorrow while DH mows the forest. If I do that first thing I'll feel justified in going to the garden centre for some veg plants.

Need to organise kitchen tonight. As BD has been around for a few days as I've been panicking, it looks like a bomb site.

Thanks everyone for your support over the past couple of days.

And it works? cat, what did you try? praying or pinning? I lost my Links of London sweetie bracelet and a watch on New Years Day :( I need to try something.

And I'm feeling rotten. Got a nasty hacking cough which has made me vomit. Lovely. So no flying done other than the dishes.

I'm eating a frog - slowly sorting out DH's filing system (only been trying to do it for 6 years :o)

How long do you have to keep gas/electricity bills etc? The files are already bulging!
