And it works? cat, what did you try? praying or pinning? I lost my Links of London sweetie bracelet and a watch on New Years Day :( I need to try something.

Praying. Hard. And turning the house upside down. Still not sure what pinning is though.

You stick a pin in a cushion and say 'I pin the devil' I'm going to try it!

Have had a fairly productive day, didn't get up until late as was worn out from the stress and anxiety from yesterday but have tidied the LR and kitchen and bedroom and bathroom, DD is at work tonight so needs a lift to work, I have also sorted the washing and almost caught up

The new role at work will be fine and it is something I will enjoy and be good at, but I still feel let down and disappointed :( off to hoover the house as DD is at last out of bed
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

How long do you have to keep gas/electricity bills etc? The files are already bulging!

I keep mine for 3 years, gas, water, electric, TV, Council, phone. (paper bills)

But in the last month, I have moved gas and electric to 'online' so I will be downloading these into their on 'folder' on my laptop, and not printing them off. The TV I buy online and I do print this one off, but reading this back I am not sure why I do that, as saving to a another folder would be a good idea.

    Evening,

Just a quick post before BGNT on tv and the ironing.
Had a lovely day but didn't get too much done. Only seemed to have managed WM.
Had a nice time at the jewellery 'do'
There weren't many there mainly cos the footy was on. Glad I went.

Lovely article Cycling, and glad you found your ring Cat.

I popped into 2 jewellers in town today to ask about having my rings cleaned and replated (white gold, eternity, engagement, wedding).
They both wanted £50! I said I'd leave it.......will have to start an ebay fund to pay for it!

Off to do the ironing - oh how I hate it when there is such a huge mound. needs must though cos out all day tomorrow at DMs.

    Enjoy your evening

If it's any consolation I'll be ironing too once the kids are in bed so you won't be on your own :)!

    Hello

Busy day here. Dusted master bdrm, 2 x wm before teaching dance.

DH has taken down old shed (no floor and big holes in roof & walls) to see if we have a base under it. We don't, there is just 6 paving slabs at the front. Our garden is now full of old rotten wood and leaves. We have to decide whether to try to burn it or to get a skip.

We are looking at new sheds tomorrow :) a local business is having a sale.

Just decluttered mushroom & pepper omlette and HM oven chips.

DS2 was poorly in the afternoon but has perked up thanks to Mr C....L

Glad you have found your ring Cat, we once found DH's ring in the chocolate section of the fridge & another time down the back of an armchair. I have lost my wedding ring and have become allergic to it's replacement so would love to find my original one.
