Cyclingyorkie -The extra time sounds a wee bit dodgy to me but I only work with primary so can't really advise.

Up, dressed, fed, WM on and out, DW on (thanks dh) and been to church and back. Now I have a huge long list of to do's for home and school - want to ask where to start but I know the answer is 'at the top'. Am finding the whole motivation thing very hard to find today so have bribed myself with treats to keep me going.

  • Afternoon - just lazing round my clean little pit after potting up some tomatoes in the greenhouse, splat snoring beside me.

Valli right mouse click - tap 2 fingers onto the trackpad - 2 finger drag scrolls as well. Much quicker than mice. Oh, and to get ¡€#¢∞§¶•ªº, œ∑´®†¥¨^øπåß∂ƒ©˙∆˚¬…æ«`Ω≈ç√∫~µ≤≥÷, you do alt+the key instead of cmd.

Seem to have decluttered around a stone or so in the last fortnight. No scales to confirm this, but I am using the smallest instead of largest hole on my belt and I can now take my jeans off without undoing it at all. Was persuaded to eat 3 times yesterday and I feel rotten as a result - massive cramps started as soon as I ate something. Feels like my insides are red hot and throbbing. :(

Oh well - at least there's less washing up this way.

afternoon all! Still feeling weak and feeble so not much flying but things are improving on the Aunt flo front - well this is day16!

Much revision helping has been done and shedloads more to do - roll on Friday - this week is going to be manic! The dining room floor has been turned into a floordrobe - well they're old enough to look for it themselves if I'm feeling crook - right?

OH looks appalled at the state of the place - but he has left to play cricket without doing anything so he can lump it! I still can't get through a day without a snooze, although I am down to 45 minutes and not the 6 hours of Thursday and Friday!

Did nothing but watch Eurovision last night with eldest - really enjoyed it in a perverse way - there was just the 2 of us - DS and DH were in the pub after cricket, and DD2 was at a Jason Mamford gig - she had a whale of a time - really enjoyed it and had her pic taken with him afterwards. Just what she needed as the stress builds......

DD2 is having lunch and watching some telly - I am going to put the clea towels away. Then it's some lunch for me before we hit population and food supply topics this afternoon......

On the subject of education could i have some advise from the teachers who populate this thread please?

DD2 finished her Photography in the 5 hours and was pleased with the result - not perfect but given the time constraints she was happy enough. Two of her mates hadn't finished.

The following lesson the teacher gave everyone their work back so that people could finish off! Is this normal? I don't think it's ethical!

So the 2 people who hadn't got a final piece in 5 hours managed to get something down in the extra time! The extra lesson was an hour - thus meaning they'd had 6 hours, not 5! - or 20% longer!

I very much doubt DD2 will get an extra half an hour to finish her AS exams this week!

Opinions welcome - thanks in advance!

Which exam board is it? Look on their website and see the conditions/time for coursework or exam depending on which part this is. If the school is flouting the rules then they can get in big trouble (like not being able to hold exams for the subject or any in some cases) but they only get found out if an inspector from the exam board calls or if word gets out. If you need any more help feel free to pm me.

    Hi folks

Back from a very poor carboot, plenty of people, but they didn't want to spend any money, everyone was saying how poor it was, so it is not just me.

JoJo~~ I have a pair of jeans I can take down with out undoing them, I don't wear them out any more in case they fall off!!

Cyclingyorkie~ I cannot commet over the exams, but it does sound odd to me, but 16 days of AF, I think you should have a trip to the dr's to get checked over, look at me thinking there was fk all wrong with me in late January, but rolled down to the dr's in a blazia mood, nothing wrong with me doctor, however I was very wrong type 2 diabetic , ok nothing to do with AF, but please go and get checked out.

Hi flyers. Love this thread. With everyone watching you HAVE to tidy. ROD 2 cleared. That's 2 in a weekend.:j:j

Also, DH mowed front meadow. WM x 2 on. 2 days food prepped. Bathroom S&S and kitchen looking not too bad. Dead plants binned.

Need to clear garden before tomorrow. Lots of paid work to do and then will reward myself with a trip to the garden centre for veg plants :T

Then I think I'm going to collapse in front of the TV and wait out the hangover from 2 bottles of wine between me and DH last night. BAD. Then he needs to vampire me in the morning. Lots of water methinks.

I heard a warning bell at the back of my head when I read this. A stone in 2 weeks would be welcome in my world:o however, if I hadn't been working on losing weight (and I don't think you have?) I would be Very Concerned And Down The Doctor's Like A Shot.

Have you booked to see your GP with a list of signs, however small? I know they aren't your favourite people after all the stress over DD and her diagnosis, but I think you should get checked out. If only to shut me up.;)

And Yorkie: that applies to you as well!

50mins gardening and 40 mins yoga today - just off for a run after tidying and sweeping up outside alongside pegging out the cleaning cloths. Not nice enough to wash pet bedding so will do this a nice day this week eg tomorrow if its fine all day.

All flying completed for this week - off for a run then a dog walk then shove tea on to cook for 2-3 hours then an hours revision, bath more revision eat and sleep!

cy and jojo - I'm with short_bird. She sounds like she knows what she's talking about - I'm just concerned.
Regarding the exam, that sounds dodgy. Dusty's advice is sound, though.

    laundry - v slow progress
[STRIKE]lunch - oven on to do pizzas for kids[/STRIKE]
tea[STRIKE] (need to put pork joint in SC) -must do this now!
    [/STRIKE]
    homework with DS2
school work - one major task done, planning later
talk to DS1 about his commitments for this week
small list of errands - will have to prioritise as out of time
    be in bed by midnight
    do something fun with DS2
    get bags/chlothes ready for tomorrow
clear the space behind the dryer in the kitchen so I can get out through the back door - non-essential, will have to wait
