hubby brought ds home and we sort of talked. well hubby talked, i listened :o couldnt bring myself to say anything in fear of making things worse. ds is bathed and ready for bed. he is shattered. me too.

as well as all the baking i cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and also did the porch. got rid of lots of old shoes that havent been worn in a year or two :o sat down for 5 mins then they came back

jac i think it must be a full moon or failing that TTOM for men, perhaps they are all in sync with each other.

    Evening all

I've done 8 hours of uni work today :D. Feel like I'm on top of it now. Just need to print some bits from work tomorrow and then I'll have half an assignment to finish and 2 small 500 word statements to write and I'm done. I have Tuesday off work this week as my Lieu day for going to North Wales last week, and Weds off as study leave so hopefully I'll get it all finished then. It's not due til the following week but I wanna get it all done and dusted this week if possible.

My lovely neighbour brought me round 5 yummy cupcakes as a reward for doing uni work, and she wanted to hear all the gossip from Friday night! :rotfl:

Been texting toyboy all day, not seeing him tonight as he is taking his nan out for dinner :A.

OS wise - another load in WM today, DW on and emptied, cleaned bathroom. Think I'll clean kitchen and hoover, then leave the tidying til tomorrow.

I need to make something for dinner but there's nothing I really fancy :( I need to go food shopping! I have bits of lots of meals but nothing complete :rotfl:. Unless I have pasta which I don't fancy. I would love a pizza, but not spending £15 on a takeaway one.

NPM- can Occupational Health help you any? I ended up totally stressed and seriously depressed when my dad was dying, none of my colleagues or managers admitted to noticing, eventually the ward clerkess asked me why I was at work since I was obviously struggling, cue major meltdown, occ health got me counselling and CBT and sent me to GP for a line! I would give up nursing in a flash in today's NHS, but sadly still like the patients and staff a tad more than I hate the beurocracy, how long till I can retire????????????????????????
JackieG-((((())))) been there, my mum had a heart attack in January, was a scary time.
I also have the huffy OH with knickers up his bumcheeks today, not quite sure what he's crabbit about cos I gave up listening hours ago, have cleared mount ironmore, shopped with mum and cooked sirloin steaks that I found in freezer, am playing here for a while then off to bed as am working tomorrow and Tuesday, hate these 12 hour shifts but love the days off!
No school for DS tomorrow, next exam is Wednesday, sadly his idea of studying is still playing the x-box but have sworn off nagging! Took him shopping for holiday clothes today, got a whole t-shirt and 1 pair of shorts, feel he may be going in last years get-ups. Dont care, 7 weeks yesterday will be relaxing in Menorca and I can't wait!!!
    RIP Iain
