    Morning Everyone

A late start from me, we didn't get up early and no arguements ;)

Bitsy, we bought an Awning from that place years ago - 1995 to be precise. Only parted with it last year.

We are off again on Thursday, this time heading north Ellerton for next weekend and early part of the week after and then Sedgefield, there is a medieval festival on there the weekend after next.

I will put this quietly so you don't shout at me we have decided to change our caravan for a top of the range one with CH, etc., and also ordered a new large porch awning to go with it - as someone said, we cannot take it with us :o Rather excited we pick up up after we return from the break above.

Tried to sell a few things on Gumtree, but apart from the dishwasher which had an initial interest email, which never responded after my reply, Dishwasher, Printer/Scanner (Dell lucky if it goes, maybe a Freecycle jobbie) 14" flat screen monitor, 2 Camping/Garden chairs, they are good, but they have straight down legs, and the rubber end have come off in the ground, and now will cut our awning carpet. Will try the local paper shop, not trying to get a lot for them, but probably will end up freecycling them.:mad:

Found an Aldi 3 bird roast in the freezer, so got that out to thaw last night, so that with veg for dinner tonight, LCing is in progess:D:A:o

Still doing runing repairs with the sewing machine, my bedroom curtains have been pinned up since we put them up :o, got the thermal/blackout linings done yesterday, and the linings of the curtains themselves, just need to do the curtain outer now, seeing if I can cheat and use the hemming option on the machine.

I have to admit I feel there is not better holiday experience for children and aduts that camping/caravanning, most people are friendly, helpful, sociable (wine/beer drinking :D:o:beer:), and the children have much greater freedom.

NPM - look at your options and give yourself a break.

((hugs)) to you all. Take care - DG

NPM - Write down all the pros and cons, as someone said (sorry I've not got a good memory) don't write off nursing. Your knowledge, experience and caring nature are very valuable. Can you perhaps talk to someone at work about your circumstances and feelings? Hugs to you.

    ((JG)).

The weather has cheered up a bit - it's just raining a bit now and not kicking it down! I can see blue sky and am tempted to put the washing on the line for a while. Have hoovered through (including both sets of stairs) and made the pasta sauce for later. Sods law DD will have had pasta at work for lunch!

Hope all of you with OH issues have it sorted, sometimes (but not very often) think at least there is only me to argue with! Take care. XX

NPM dont write nursing off altogether, you have some amazing skills and experience under your belt that you could still use. I understand how you feel , i think the hospitals treat staff appallingly.

i left soon after that incident , i now work in general practice and i love it , still the same carp pay but the job satisfaction is second to none.:D

AGREED! I've been there sistercas! Running four bed resus by myself, one nurse in majors, practitioner in minors with more coming in and co-ordinator wondering why we're turning people away. Sadly it's the front line staff that get it in the neck - I work as practice nurse now (until mat leave) and agree the working environment is better although it still has it's downsides at times!!!

NPM I would advise not to tell work you won't be back in again ever - if you need specific advice call RCN and ask them what to say/not say employment law is on your side if you have worked in the same place for more than 12 months. But HR will use what they can. Get your sick note from the doctor and take it from there. I know it's bait cowardly but can anyone phone for you? Let them explain you won't be in tomorrow and that as soon as you've seen GP you'll let them know when you'll be back. As long as you keep them informed they can't touch you x

JG - HUGS to you x
