May go down the migraine route then go to docs0 -

I was bricking it when I jacked in my old job to be a CM. Especially since I hadn't got any work lined up <gulp>
I agree with all the others, get Doc to sign you off, Noah needs you more and quite frankly given the stress you're having with him going to school no wonder you're having panic attacks. Have a hug xx
*rant alert*
H announced he doesn't want to go to camping shop.
I'd mentioned DS had said he misses our old tent (which we sold along with everthing else, trailer etc) and I would like a few more weekends away. I mentioned about trailer tents as there is no way I buying all our camping stuff again having sold it <rollseyes> Anyway I suggested going to this place last night to have a nose, kids like to look at the tent, H had no problem. But today he doesn't want to go. "Its not like it's a great family day out". Huh? Who ever said it was? Oh and he announced he doesn't like trailer tents. !!!!!! can this bloke ever open his gob at the time when we're actually talking about stuff :mad::mad:
We're both coming down with this virus/cold thingy that DD's had so I bet you he's being a miserable old g*t cause he doesn't feel tip top  Feel like saying stuff you, me and the kids will go on our own so you can s*d off and do you own thing today

Totally agree and have just sent you a rather clumsily worded PM saying the same thing xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Rained all night here too, garden needed it though. Just a quick one this morning we are off the the boot sale for a look around.
Thanks for the suggestions re the dresser colour, I went for a pale duck egg blue in the end, we rubbed it down yesterday and got a primer on it, will put another one on today.
Gammon bread and butter and salad for dinner, might make some scones later on, have just opened some apple and blackberry jelly, which I made last year, and its calling out for scones and cream

Hi all :hello:
Sorry, I've been MIA for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages but still trying to keep up with you all - and still trying to be OS, naturally.
Essex Girl - can I send my ironing mountain over to you too?
NPM - big hugs to you. Why not say that you've been "ill in the night". Covers a multitude of possible ailments...
DH and I have been busy trying to be old style over the past few months since I last posted. We've just got back from a holiday in South Africa (staying with his best friend and family) where we had so many salads and braais (bbqs) that DH is wanting to become the Braai King of the East Midlands. :rotfl: At least he has an ambition! Whilst we were in SA, we were fed South African style rusks. They were divine and fabulous to dip into your cup of tea. DH is pestering me to make a batch.
Must get some mince out of the freezer for later. I'll be making bobotie. However, I'm afraid that I'll be cheating today as I got a packet sauce when in SA.......
Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning x
A proper post instead of just chipping in:eek::eek::eek:
Im late getting my act together today. TBH Im keeping a low profiles and trying to remain calm. I have a feeling that the proverbial is about to hit the fan with my eldest son:eek::eek::eek:
Kids Dad is doing the ironing and Im trying to figure out some important stuff as regards my ill health pension. It involves doing some research and reading some long documents with long words in:eek::eek::eek: Old style wise the kitchen looks a mess as breakfast has not been sorted, there is fluff from dogs everywhere and white tissues as dog shredded a box full last night:mad::mad::mad:
Happy days xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

yes unfortunately
whilst i'm glad he is ok, he is being a pain. he wanted to take ds out yesterday but i had already made plans to take ds to a playdate. this morning he wanted to take him out again but i really cant face seeing him. said he just coming round to see him and i cant stop him. i dont want to stop but i know i will completely lose it with him if i see him
ds doesnt need to witness that
ETA reading that it sounds like i am being a pain more than him"I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -
Morning All
It's wet again here! Yesterday afternoon DS2 (22) asked me to help him to put up a tent he has borrowed so he could see if it was ok. We did - in the pouring rain - and then he came out with a little stove he also borrowed, 2 cups with tea bags in and a big smile on his face. We sat in the tent (remember it was chucking it down) in the garden with the stove on and had a cup of tea!! DD thought this was a thoroughly stupid thing to do but I haven't laughed so much for ages. What a sight it must have been. At least no-one called round!
Anyway, DS2 just left with my car and all the camping gear ready to go to Mull tomorrow, hope he enjoys it even though it's going to rain. DD got up with a big swollen lip again - same as a couple of weeks ago. Phoned NHS24 who were really thorough and advised her to take an anti-histamine and see the doc tomorrow if it is still as bad. I think the anti-bs from the other week have worn off and whatever it is is back. Still, she has gone to work.
Not much OS here, the washing is on the racks and I will mop the floors in a while. Something easy for tea tonight, had a big veggie dinner last night, will need to look in the freezer for inspiration!
Hope you all have a good Sunday, take care of yourselves. XX0
