Not a sign Jackie....think that she has adopted or been adopted by somebody else...Thunder is not happy to be around Mossy ( our soon to be adopted dog) so we don't see much of him either these days...I miss them both.
I like the word conniption...regret that so many words are falling out of use, making English much less colourful than it used to be....would you agree?
Sleep well

I would agree some of these new fangled words just don't sound right, but that's the magic of language too, that it changes with the times. That's a shame about the furbabies, maybe they have found each other elsewhere and are in mutiny
Sleep well, yourself. xxx It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

Jackie and Marie, you have just gave me a fantabulous memory of my dad and his wee mum, they used some brilliant words that I am sure they made up as they went along!!!!!
Evening all, busy wee day here, did great aunts shopping cos I remembered the 10k run is on tomorrow, she lives near the venue and last year I got trapped in Mr A's carpark. Washed some holiday clothes and hung them out, last of them currently in drier as it has been tipping it down. Made a chicken curry from yesterdays leftovers and have just wrapped a prezzie for DD's friend's baby, christening tomorrow. Am watching drivel on tv whilst browsing on lappie as crabbit OH is snoring like a hog in bed!
Jackie, hope the belly is ok, in years gone by my cup would have been smashed as I lobbed it at OH, got fed up doing it as I always missed!!!!RIP Iain

Oh a lovely new word to use instead of hissy fit. My DD is always having a conniption at the moment as she has pmt, exam stress and bit brother stress :eek::eek: Poor girl xxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
