Miecherox Take it easy when you can. Good to hear you are getting kicked! Very comforting especially when you haven't been feeling very well.

Lou hope you get the meds sorted soon. Just keep popping in on here. Have a laugh, have a ((((hug)))), whatever you want.

BB Well done you on getting the job:T

    Totally agree :)

Rosie hope your digging hoe comes soon and you enjoy it. Hope it makes the lottie work easier. Sounds like really good play for the children - great for imagination and co-operation. x

Was really dark this morning, not enough light at 6:30am for me to read my watch face. Not been that dark at that time for weeks. It does seem to be brightening up at the moment but forecast is wet for the weekend. Good for forest fires though as someone mentioned (can't remember sorry, need a memory upgrade but can't find a shop;)) Don't know if it was imagination but I thought I smelled burning on my way to work yesterday:(

Hugs & best wishes, Silver x

    Morning All,

Hope you are all well, big drama here last night was that I spilled a cup of freshly made tea over myself and had to go to the minor injuries clinic :o I am fine, it was really sore and I have one wee tiny blister. I was more embarrassed than anything, having to show my fat belly and stretch marks to a stranger! OH is now not talking to me though, as I got such a fright, I threw my tea on the floor, which splashed him, broke my cup, and made an almighty mess  Never mind my poor belly :rotfl: Never mind, I think its his TOTM :D

No plans for today, apart from the drama last night, I am not in a very good place atm, in fact it happened because I was distracted, I will potter about the house and see what's what.

Have a good day and take care all of you.

    Good morning!

It's raining here in Bristol-we woke up to heavy rain-it's eased a bit now. Good for gardeners and lottie holders and farmers. OH was talking about a water butt......bit late now!

Dollycat went out despite the rain. But we did get a bit of a lie in. I have never had such an out cat!

Off to cook OH his favourite breakfast and DS is probably lurking to see if the bacon is going on......

Then we may start stripping the bedroom. Erm well actually I have already been pulling paper off. This is about the last room to decorate so must contact the plasterer. I don't know where we're going to sleep though while the plaster dries. I am looking forward to getting a new bed so I have done a deal with myself-no new bed until bedroom done. Gives me time to save up anyway!

OH got whoopsies at Morrison's last night so something with mince for tea tonight.

    ((Hugs Jackieglasgow))

Well have a good day all.

JackieG How horrible for you. I'm sure that was very painful. Hope it heals quickly.

Silver and all, my hoe arrived!!! I am just finishing off breakfast with the kids and then I will get on with unwrapping it. Well, dd2 is trying to unwrap it for me, as she is so excited that a parcel has arrived, but, well Amazon have done a great job with their extra strong plastic wrap, that she isn't making much headway. Have to get to it, so that I can cut it off carefully to re-use. Think I will get out in the garden first, as it is still too wet to trail the kids away from Beethoven on the telly, up to the lottie!

    morning!

my weekend off:j and its looking like its about to pour down here:cool: I know we need it but couldn't it rain at night or when I'm at work?

DH not too good today - his sciatica is worse(he overdid it up the pigeon loft yesterday) he cant run, his body wont let him so he's just plodding on at work and taking lots of painkillers. I'm making him rest the remainder of the weekend like it or not.

Need to make a shopping list this morning. Have tidied up, swept the floors, small load of washing on which I'll hang indoors. Little bit of ironing to do.

(((hugs))) to JackieG, hope its not too sore x

I'm hoping to finish my Richard Montinari book which is gripping, got several more books lined up thanks to the carboots.

nothing else to report just now, have a great weekend all x

Rosie, there's no way my OH would give me an earful, lol - he's the strong, silent type (ie a huffy get ;) )

I am fine, just a bit of a klutz. I have been thinking about all these mishaps I have had recently, and realised that they might sound a bit sinister or as if I am keeping something back. I am not, please don't worry about me, it was honestly just me tipping the cup over while I was daydreaming. :) xx

I'm glad you're ok Jackie. I have had times like that where it is just one thing after another, minor injury-wise.
