Yep - it was me! Thanks for that - means I can order one with peace of mind that the whole office won't see it!
I am tucked up in bed with the laptop as I am a complete grotbag-snot monster. Have spent the weekend spluttering my way through a pathetic amount of chores. I did manage to get a fair but of study done though.
I did my weigh on Saturday and I appear to have dropped 2 lbs since the previous week - which I'm reasonably pleased with seeing as the lurgey stopped all exercise from Tues onwards. I am really missing the exercise - can't wait till I can breathe again :rotfl:
We've seen a house we really like. OH has said that if it is still on the market when I pop back in August I can go see it (it's been on since Sep '09 so here's hoping!). We've also started looking at furniture companies and doing a spreadsheet of everything we are going to need to work out costs. I am loving it - it's like the buzz of shopping but without the pain to my wallet!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend - it was dead gloomy and chilly here.
Boo hiss for feeling poorlybut yay for weight loss! :T
Is the house in the UK? Fingers crossed for you :A There is nothing better than a bit of planning is there? I love making lists...more so often than actually doing the things in them!

Anyone else - if you want to join the group you can PM either me or euro with your facebook email address. We'll then need to send you a facebook friend request as we can only add friends to the group.
I've made euro an admin as I'll be offline for almost three weeks from the end of the week...

Stupid work do, with inflatable challenge game thingy's. Someone fell over, onto my hand, and my little finger was bent backwards! OUCHY!

Yep - house is in the UK. Trying not to get too excited about it as moving home is a long way off....but planning for our first house is dead fun. I have been having a play on my fav furniture website and my basket contained a scary amount!!"No society can surely be flourishing and happy of which by far the greater part of the numbers are poor and miserable"Adam Smith6/300 -
Ooooo where in the UK Kalama??? Furniture shopping is fun, I'm sad enough to enjoy fantasising about what house I would buy and what furniture would I put in it if money was no object:o:D1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

Body clock is really clanging at me now.
It was my mum's birthday yesterday and we had a family meal. My brother, his partner and their two children came. Their youngest is a month old. I finished my dinner first and then the baby woke up and started crying. Cue my brother and his GF faffing about over who would hold the baby & working out how they'd manage to finish their dinner whilst holding her. So I volunteered. BIG mistake!
Super cute though! Even managed to persuade OH to have a hold rather than just staring at her!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Is your OH like mine, and gets a bit scared of how fragile they seem?
My SIL's bump is progressing nicely, and my sister told me yesterday that her bump has just started to develop. I'm so pleased for them, but so jealous at the same time.
Had a horrid dream on Friday night! Dreamt I was pregnant and OH suddenly decided he didn't want children and told me he would dump me if I kept it!:( Naturally, in my dream, I dumped him and kept baby! Which is exactly what OH said I should do, when I told him about the dream, and then reassured me that wasn't going to happen.
I hate dreams like that. It was sooo vivid, I woke up feeling horrible!
I still need to catch up on this thread from the weekend. Guess I'd better do some work too! lol

Thought i'd join this board as wont be trying for a baby (TTC? what does that mean?) for a while yet.
Do any of you who are waiting to start trying started collecting bits and bobs for the new arrival in the future? i have started collecting freebies and joined loads of baby clubs but if im not going to start trying for a couple of years do you think its too early? silly question - do nappies have an expiry date? i have a few samples at home but dont know if its worth keeping them?
Many thanks!
So glad you joined us Ferry!
I haven't collected anything yet, mainly because we barely have enough space to store our own stuff at the moment, let alone baby stuff. *sigh* Another thing on the 'to do' list before started with TTC'ing, 'find a bigger place!'.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Hi Everyone,
I'm WTTC.
My OH and I are going to wait until the end of the year after my birthday (December) so we can get our heads around it all and save up some money.
I make more money then him so it's a case of working out how much money we can afford to lose. What I would really like to do is have a career break after my maternity leave to spend some more time with baby - not sure how long yet, but as with everything it will depend on money.
Nice to meet you all

Hey, can I join in to?? Pretty please
Me & my OH have decided to start trying TTC in december 2011. I'm 28 and my OH is 31, and we've been together for 11 years. I have a little bit of debt (£3500), and some work stuff I want to get sorted first!! I stopped taking the pill about 3 months ago & have started taking Folic Acid - I know i'm a geek!!!:o
Eeeek I'm so excited!!! I lurked on the other thread but never posted because I felt a bit silly, but this thread seems perfect!! :j
