Hi Blondy, I'm still waiting ttc and almost constantly broody so you're not alone!
Congrats on the wedding and the puppyCommon sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
Thanks guys for your response. Nice to hear there are still people waiting ttc. Good luck COMP and optimistic mummy and hope all goes to plan soon.
Yes I am broody a lot that's why I bought a puppy to distract me and focus my attention on something else and getting fitter (soon we will be able to go out for plenty of walks, and no excuses!)
Wedding was lovely and missing it today.
Has anyone got any news, hows the job situ going brownedyed? You moved yet?0 -
Hi Blondy, the new job is good thanks! I'm enjoying it and I'm thankful every day that I no longer have to deal with my last manager (who I recently found out has been demoted after bragging to the whole world about how he was going to get a promotion in a restructure lol).
We moved the beginning of December and we're pretty settled in the new place now...both loving not having horrific commutes and the area is lovely. We're starting to look at houses near here and will hopefully be buying once we get towards the end of our lease.
Is your puppy helping with the broodiness? What sort of dog is it?Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
I am waiting to TTC, but it is all on the hush hush, obviously my partner knows though lol.
I have PCOS but have managed to fall pregnant twice now but both times were not planned so it is exciting to be planning a baby IYSWIM, In our perfect world I would fall pregnant in the beginning of August this year and would have bubs in May but it is highly likely it won't work like that.
I already have two girls and really want a boy, I know there is no way of knowing what your getting straight away but I can dream. I already have his name picked
Our best friends have just had a baby boy and it's made us so broody!0 -

Thanks Browneyedbazzi for your comments. Glad that your are enjoying your new job and away from your ex manager. Exciting about you looking for a place to buy, good luck hope you find the house you love.
Yes puppy is helping with broodiness, she is a labrador and 9 weeks old now, love her to bits but very cheeky. Is good for me and OH to get into responsibility training for when we do have children and keeps be busy 24/7. Can't wait till she is able to go out for walks :j
Welcome Erinnire to the thread, sometimes it is a bit quiet, but the ladies are lovely on here and give some good advice and support.
Looking forward to a nice quiet weekend with husband and puppy0 -
I'm still lurking - very broody and it seems like forever until we're going to start to TTC
sigh.

I know I shouldn't be posting on here , but still....
We got a little bunny rabbit last week and it definitely helps with broodiness and the impatience of it all in my opinionDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Starshining you might want to look up the trying for a baby thread - this is for people who are waiting (often for financial reasons) to try. As such it tends to be very quiet, whereas the TTC thread moves a lot quickerDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

Hello...please can i join in?
I have been with my partner for 8 years now and i am 36. We've waited and waited until the 'time is right' and i'm so scared we're going to miss our boat. We're living with the inlaws to save for a deposit but i don't feel like we can wait much longer. I'll be 37 in April and we're discussing me coming off my medication at this time, giving it a few months, and then trying. We could do with another year saving but i fear that if we wait this long we might be able to conceive. Is anyone else in the same position? Do you think we're mad going for it?
Sorry to hear you've had to come back over here Mrs_T_Mi hope you can lose some weight and go for it some time soon xx
