Triangle - ta x. I hope you get your assignment back soon (I am sure it will be good!) and I also hope you get to find out about your new employer's maternity policy.

Confuzzled - I know how you feel! In fairness though he is letting me have both babies and a my dream kitchen so I think it's fair that he gets a playroom! He also built me a super fab shiny computer with 2 screens for my photos.

I'm a bit jealous of all these flash phones you can put things on - I am so out of touch!

Ugh - only another 2 hours of work to go. I'm off to a fun crisis planning meeting now. Cheery!

It could be worse - I had to sit through an hour's discussion on Asbestos.....

Reading back, I note that someone (bigzippy maybe?) suggested it's not pointless signing up to FF - the reason I probably shouldn't is I'm on implanon and am pretty sure I don't ovulate at the moment. I don't even have AF :j

Once I have the implant out I'll probably sign up then. So folic acid will start from October ish, I'll order a thermometer etc... I'm not going to want to leave this thread!

Hi everyone, thank you for the warm welcome.

Well we are still waiting for AF to arrive from having stopped taking the pill. I took the last one 51 days ago and going from what I have read would place me at CD46! oh well!

We want to start trying in August so hope my cycle is normal by then but I am guessing it wont.

Any ideas how you can coax your body to starting to behave by itself.....?

I take Agnus Castus as I was told it is good for helping regulate cycles and possibly kick starting AF.

Euronorris - glad you had a fantastic time :) Were you visiting family and friends?

Thank you! I'm still on a high.

Unfortunately, no, I wasn't visiting friends and family. Well, that's a bit of a lie, I did see some friends and made some new ones too! :D

Ahem, I'm a geek, and a big fan of the TV series Supernatural! So, I went to a fan convention in Birmingham (I've been to two before), and have finally met the two main stars, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. Had my pic taken with them, got their autograph and even won a coffee lounge with Jensen, which became a coffee lounge with both Jensen and Jared. I can post some pics if you'd like?

So, there you are, complete geeky fan here, but I don't care. It was tonnes of fun, and I actually volunteered to work this time, and they want me back for next year too! :D

Welcome to all of our newbies! I hope your stays are short and informative! ;)

Not much to report for me. CD15, and I think I ovulated yesterday, but not sure. I forgot to take my thermometer away with me, so I'm missing a few days temps. *shrugs* What can you do? Nothing, so I'm not going to waste any time worrying about that one.

Have a good day all and here are some big ((HUGS)) for those of you who need them!

    xx

Yes, although I found Jared was more interactive and smiley/jokey than Jensen. And that is the opposite of how I thought it would be.

Richard Speight Jr (Gabriel/Trickster) and Mark Sheppard (Crowley) were both there also, and really funny! They bounce off each other well with their banter, and interrupting each others stage talks! lol. And Fred (yellow eyed demon) was funny, in a filthy jokes kinda way, but also lovely. I got to work with him in his photo shoot, so actually got to talk to him a bit more.

However, by far, the funniest guest I've ever met is Misha Collins (Castiel) last year in Germany. Had me in stitches!

Oh, and the Jason Manns concert on Sat night was awesome. By the end of it, Richard and Fred had both been on stage singing songs and then they dragged everyone up to sing and dance with them too! haha

OK, so not TTC related. SOrry folks!

Edit: Oh, and you can always come to the one next year - http://www.rogueevent.co.uk/wordpress/?p=996 There is even another one in October this year (Asylum 7) which Misha Collins is attending, and I think they still have a few tickets left! :D

    I love this! :rotfl:

Not because I'm a fan of supernatural (never seen it....or heard of it :o *runs for cover*) but because you went to a fan convention! I bet it was so much fun! I would love to go to a Dr Who one...now that would be amazing...especially if Matt Smith turned up....mmmmm, Matt Smith! :smileyhea An odd looking choice for many but I think he is yummy!

Jealous! I would have been drooling at Jared Padalecki's feet!

And to keep it on topic, I would TTC with him any day of the week and twice on sundays! Lol.
