Just thought I'd update from Monday, my sister's pg was ectopic, and she had surgery yesterdayShe's obv feeling terrible today, but will hopefully recover quickly.
Hi i'm new to this thread, We already have 2 ds and we want to have another baby at some point but this sounds awful as no time is right but we really can't afford to at the moment and would have to move house. But the next year or so we may have to move away for hubbys work so we don't want to move locally if we have to do it all again in a years time. But we also don't want a huge gap between the children this time.
We decided to wait until our son was nearing school age to try again as i got pg v quick the 1st time and was still young i thought it would happen quickly again and of course it didn't work out that way.
After months of ttc i finally became pg but sadly lost it a few wks later
it was very complicated as it wasn't as straight forward mc as first thought and like your sister LittleMoog i had a confirmed ectopic. Infact i was pg with twins, 1 was inside the womb which i mc and 1 was in my tube which i had to have terminated (this is how i saw it) as It was still alive just growing in the wrong place and that was v hard to come to terms with. I wish your sister all the best and i don't mean to bring a downer because my story did have a happy ending and i have a beautiful 1 year old now and after time i am sure she will ok. Welcome Elastigirl and big ((HUGS)). Thank you for sharing your story with us also, that must've been a very tough time for you.
If you had another child, would you be able to accomodate a baby (space wise) for a short while, whilst you waiting for the work decision to happen? ie, don't move now, save the money, have another child and then wait for the work move. If the work move doesn't happen, you could still then move to a bigger place?
Although, does your OH know when the decision will be made? Will it definitely be within 18 months, for example? Or could it be in 2 months, or 24 months? What you need to be wary of, is not being heavily pregnant when you need to move as that will be very stressful (and is what my OH also wants to avoid).
It's tough, hey?February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Hi everyone
Prodigal daughter back again! Well I am ashamed to say for various reasons (busy work week, just back off wedding/honeymoon/nights out for friends birthday etc so got 2 drunk :S ) my first ovulation post marriage has kind of come and gone.....we did BD once or twice in the days before and after but nowhere near as regimented (if that's the right word) or as much around the right days as i thought we would. (read if I had been sober can't find ashamed face so  at myself will do!!)
on 2 days last week i used the ovulation testers from amazon and they were positivebut then it seems I forgot the most important thing lol:rotfl:
BUT moving on I have now clearly diarised everything, done some internet research, got some "good" foods and drinks in our food shop and am looking forward to the next one when I will be ready for it!!! LOL
Hope you are all well x xDebt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016

I know what you mean though, I look at the "other" board sometimes and it's a bit scary-can we all please graduate together?! I feel alot safer here!0 -
Well I've changed you to 'graduated' on the front page, but I'm by no means kicking you out! As far as I'm concerned, this thread is for anyone who wants a baby - trying or waiting to try...
I had a reality check today - I was looking on Debenhams website at their sale dresses for my broter's wedding next year. Then realised I *could* be pregnant by then! I probably won't be, and in a way I hope I'm not as it'll be difficult to hide the fact that I'm not drinking!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Well now it feels real
what a day!! Thank you and thanks for the kind comments I love this thread.
Wow, it is strange thinking of events coming up and how much your life could have changed by then,
I've had quite a productive day researching quite a lot (read getting addicted to TTC forums)

I'd actually changed you a little while ago - sorry!
I think the style of dress that I'd like to get for the wedding will be fine as if I were pregnant, I'd only just be (starting in March / April, wedding in May) so I might just bite the bullet and buy it. I'll cross the 'alcohol' bridge if I come to it! The difficulty is that the photo of me drinking straight from the wine bottle at our own wedding has become infamous in our family. They all know I drink rose wine! PfftDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Hi - euronorris, am I in the right thread?
