hi sorry we must have cross posted earlier I didnt see this at the time. I did have the tiniest bleed this morning but that maybe due to the fact we went to bed last night - we are newlyweds after all!
We're not trying for a baby, we are waiting until I qualify I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough in the post I thought I had put that. I just didnt understand what was happening and wondered if people on here would know as a lot of people on here are very clued up about this kind of thing.
we are going on honeymoon on sun and I was hoping to be able to enjoy myself whilst away. someone on another board suggested that perhaps I had "reset" my cycle, so I guess I'll just have to wait and keep testing, thankyou for your input :)

No problem. I misunderstood. I thought your DH wanted to start trying for another now, and you didn't. *must pay more attention*

It is possible that you are just having a longer cycle, as you may have ovulated later than usual. But, equally, you may have ovulated at normal time. As you haven't been temping, or using OPK's(Ovulation Predictor Kit), it is very difficult to know for sure what is happening/has happened.

The spotting you had this morning could be as a result of rough BD, it could be ovulation spotting, or it could be the start of your period. See, this TTC thing is bl00dy confusing!

What you could do, is take your temps for a few days (if AF doesn't arrive in the meantime), and it would give you an indication of what's going on. Temperature should be taken straight after waking up (minimum of 3 hours sleep), before you get out of bed and preferably at the same time each day whilst you're still sleepy (ie, barely awake). However, I take mine when I go to the bathroom first thing and it seems to be OK still.

A high(ish) temperature (36.6 or more) can indicate that you have ovulated, and will stay elevated if pregnant. However, please note that it is not exact, and without the temps for the full month, will be very difficult to tell.

I'm sorry, I wish I could be more help, but I can't really.

    OV tests can be easier.

And the temps really depend on a person's average. ie, 36.6 is high for me and usually indicates post ovulation. But....for someone else that may be on the low side.

I like QQ's solution to this. Our pee should just turn blue when we are preggers. That'd be much easier! lol

Where's the like button?! That is such a good idea!
One of my more embarassing moments...when I was a little girl, my friend told me that her Mum had gone to hospital to find out if she was pregnant. I asked her how they could tell and she said that her Mum would have "bits in her wee" if she was pregnant. For YEARS I thought you would be able to tell you were pregnant because there would be physical "bits" of something in your wee..! another Doh! moment..!

Hi thankyou, he wants more kids so is excited at the prospect of a baby, I don't ever want to have any more kids but have agreed to have another so our son won't be an only child, this will probably be in 3 or 4 years.
when you say "check your temperature", like with a normal thermometer? you don't mean check in the la la do you?! I wouldnt be able to face that! I think we just have to wait and see, but its frustrating and confusing :(. I really do appreciate the help though, thankyou x

You can check either. Checking in the la la would be more accurate, but I just take my temp orally and that seems to be fine. Checking via the la la can be handy for those who sleep with their mouths open though (as this will affect the temp).
