big hugs for your sister little moog xxx
Hope everyone had a good weekend, we had an (in-law) family bbq, with our 10 mth old niece...sooooooooooo gorgeous!, 18mth old nephew...sooo much fun! and 3 wk old nephew soo...tiny that actually I was a bit scared! I've cuddled plenty of weeny babies in my time, but I felt really scared cuddling him. I think it's because a) it's the first time I've thought..."it could be me this time next year" and b)ALL the in-laws were watching and making the "oohhh-you next" noises that drive me MAD!! BIL didn't help himself by walking up to me in the garden when the arrived and saying "you do know there is a 3 week old baby in the house, don't you" as if I should be in there being all gooey over him! BOG OFF AND LET US DECIDE WHEN WE WILL HAVE BABIES!!
sorry, I know they only want nice things for us, I just HATE people putting pressure on something so important and life changing!

I have a copper coil too, and I was convinced I was pregnant this month as I was 3 days late! All sorts of worst case scenario's were flying through my head, including ectopic.

Sometimes I wonder if it's worth the hassle, but I just can't face going back on the pill. The migraines were awful, and I had lost my sex drive completely. I can't think of any other long term, non hormonal contraception form. Condoms are SUCH a pain, I hate them.

I also really hate condoms, they're such a mood killer :( guess we'll be back on them from the weekend though, so will have to get on with it. I'm thinking that if I can pinpoint OV once my cycle comes back, we can just use them in the first half of the cycle and stop once I've ov'd It wouldn't be a total disaster if I fell pregnant now, as the work EMP means no drop in wages, so don't need to be super cautious! DH has been making the most of my last week of pills though, I don't think we've ever DTD so often :rotfl: I quite like it though  although getting a bit sleep deprived!

Welcome to our newest members! :D

Mary - I don't really have any advice to offer. Maybe wait a week, test again, and if still negative visit the doctor to figure out why your period hasn't arrived. Sorry I can't be more help.

I also think, with everything else you have going on, waiting a while before you try for baby number 2 wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Maybe try to agree with your hubby that you will try for number 2 after your course is finished?

hi sorry we must have cross posted earlier I didnt see this at the time. I did have the tiniest bleed this morning but that maybe due to the fact we went to bed last night - we are newlyweds after all!
We're not trying for a baby, we are waiting until I qualify I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough in the post I thought I had put that. I just didnt understand what was happening and wondered if people on here would know as a lot of people on here are very clued up about this kind of thing.
we are going on honeymoon on sun and I was hoping to be able to enjoy myself whilst away. someone on another board suggested that perhaps I had "reset" my cycle, so I guess I'll just have to wait and keep testing, thankyou for your input :)

OK, whilst we're doing "what's the TLA" please can someone tell me what BFP and BFN are? I know it means pregnant or not pregnant, but I don't actually know what the letters stand for:o!
