Hello
Just thought I would pop in and say hi, (really procrastinating from cleaning, lol)!
I do have to get on in a minute although just want to lie on settee and stop my back from aching - sorry I know I'm full of moans.
Nothing to report yet other than the urge to chop my chest off, lol!
Wow - just popped to the loo and I know I shouldn't be symptom spotting but oh my girls are so sore I had to look and my nipples are huge!
Oh I wonder, I wonder? See I feel excited now! Hmm what will be will be

know that feeling - I'd definitely be less broody if my nephew wasn't so darned cute!:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Magicboo I've just read one of your posts regarding your age - that's still young hunny
My nan fell pregnant at the age of 42 with my auntie
Love her she thought she was going through the change and went to doc's and had various tests including a urine sample - when she went back the following week and asked him if she was going through the change he replied that she was going through A change but probably not the change she was expecting lol! She already had me as a two year old grand-daughter so I have an auntie who is 2 years younger than me
Also my 42 year old friend found out a few months ago that she was pregnant and both her and baby are doing well
She is absolutely glowing and looks amazing

ZCrat46-just read on another thread that you met your DH on muddymatches-how cool! Not only did I meet my DH online too (tried muddymatches but met him on Match) but my friends cousins own muddymatches! I went for an organised meal thing with them a few years ago, the girls who started it were lovely (& found out to be my friends cousins!) and friendly and I had a really nice evening.
It's lovely to hear a success story!
x
Magicboo - how cool - you must tell your friends to tell your cousins it works as we never did tell Muddymatches! All our farmer friends laughed at the wedding when in his speech OH said "I knew I was onto a winner when I went up her farm drive for the first time to pick her up, it was a good farm drive so I thought she'd be alright".
I'm presuming your country/farming minded - if not you prob won't find it funny!
Euronorris - that's good advice about coming off the pill and onto the IUD. I might have a chat about that with the doc. Thanks.
My little godson came over today and sat on a tractor with me. He's 4 and made me really quite broody. I'm only beginning to admit my broodiness to myself I think because for so long I'd thought I'd stay single forever and it wouldn't happen to me. Now, life seems a bit too good to be true and I find myself waiting for something to go wrong. How awfully negative that sounds!!0 -
What a lovely story
Well I had porridge with cinnamon earlier which was bland but I enjoyed it and I don't even like porridge! Felt sick afterwads so went for a lie on the settee and now feel washed out. I think I'm tired because I was up a couple of hours earlier this morning than I have been lately. No AF, rock hard boobs and shattered.
How is everyone else this evening?

Hello
I am cooking chicken drumsticks for my boys sleepover and it's taking every ounce of strength not to heave - all I can smell is raw meatI had the same thing happen when I came home the other day and hubby had cooked spag bol ready - it just smelled of raw mince to me and it was cooked. I have now had a bet with my sister that I am pregnant - if I'm not I have to bake her lemon drizzle cake and if I am she is going to make me scones

ZC-do you know me or something?! You keep saying exactly what I think..which is either :rotfl: or  stalker!!
Yep, I'm in farming, went to Ag college in Devon and now work in the grain trade (mega busy at the moment!). What do you do? I take it you're a farmers daughter? My Dad had to sell the family farm in April because of horrible inheritance issues. Sad-but quite liberating!
I will tell my pals to tell the muddy matches girls, they'll be really pleased
Back to the subject this thread is supposed to be about..I stopped taking the pill in April and have been using uurrrmmm..."timing"-shall we say-to be safe until we start TTC, I wanted my body to have a few months to get used to being off the pill after 18 years on it!! Also, start taking folic acid tablets daily (Sainsburys were doing a 3-for-2 offer on them) soon.
Oh, all the newbies who don't know about it-get the Tommys book about planning for a healthy pregnancy-its really interesting and useful. Here is the link. Its free too :money:
JJ-here's hoping you get some scones! x0 -
Thank you magicboo
Well just as I finished cooking the chicken I asked hubby to check them for me and he then said to me that actually they do smell funny! We had chinese instead - biggest meal I've had all week. Chicken in batter is my fave so was looking forward to them - I took two bites and couldn't eat any more, I think I've gone off meat! As I said earlier, I had porridge this afternoon and loved it and I really don't like porridge at all normally?!
I'm trying to keep a level head - I know I might not be pregnant but oh I do feel different right now and I want those scones, lol! (Obviously I do want a baby more, lol)!

Nighty night,

I am a farmers daughter! I gave up my retail job 2 years ago to work on the family farm to try and learn the ropes. Love it so far! Madly busy at the moment as we're arable but its rained today so I get to catch up on some sleep :T My OH works on our farm too so him and my Dad steal all the fun jobs (i.e combine driving) and I get stuck managing our antiquated bin system!
Inheritance issues can be a real problem - my OH is heading for a nasty one on his farm with his siblings I think. My dad was an only child and my OH thinks that's the way to go (although, he has hinted if child 1 wa a girl he'd keep going for a boy, how sexist are farmers still!) How are your parents coping having sold the farm? Sounds like you have your own career going on!0
