((HUGS)) for the period pain and good luck with the TTC!
Very exciting!!!
I hope you all had better weather this weekend, than we did....I managed to get out and enjoy a bit of sun on Saturday morning. About an hour after I got home, it started to rain and rain and rain some more! It didn't stop until late last night!! Miserable weekend. Oh well, the dishes are all clean and the washing is up to date, and even managed to get OH sorting through his old stuff and either put it away or through it away. Oh, and I still wore my new dress on Saturday, I just added some leggings underneath, and a jacket over the top.(I was determined to wear that dress!)
Slowly, slowly getting there
Wish this cold would b'gger off though. It's lingering. Mostly the cough, which makes my throat sore. Boooo.
Payday today though! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I hope you are all well and enjoyed your weekends!

Morning All!
Sorry Euro, the weather was great over the weekend here and is supposed to stay great for most of the week! woohoo! Shame I'm at work really!
I saw some friends yesterday, one couple who have a very happy, contented 10 month old girl and one couple who have 17 month old twin boys who were also gorgeous! They made having children look like a complete doddle-even twins!!
Right, better get on with some work...

Morning Ladies.
I have just posted about this on the TTC thread but thought I'd share here too incase it's useful to anyone who is due to graduate and moght want to track their cycles or anyone who just want's to get to know their cycles a bit better.
FF (Fertility Friend, the site that let's you track your cycles) are running their special offer on a year's VIP membership again ($24.95 which I think is about £16) on FB.
You need to go to their FB page and "like" it then go to the promos section and follow the link.
You can only access it on the full FB site, i.e not mobile site/ apps.
Their standard membership is free but doesn't have as many "features" and the VIP (Don't ask me what they are though as I can't remember :rotfl:).

Hello everyone
Just thought I'd share this and see if anyone has any insight. As you know, my partner and I agreed to start TTC next month.
We are in the process of buying a new home which has been a pretty stressful experience up to now and we haven't even exchanged yet! Anyway, this weekend he says to me that he is happy for me to stop taking the pill at the end of this packet (which is in about two weeks) but that we "shouldn't try too hard" to get pregnant straight away because he is stressed about the new house going through...
I got a bit upset then and pointed out that if everything goes smoothly we should be in there in a couple of months, which would mean that even if I got pregnant on the first day of not taking my pill (extremely unlikely indeed) then it's not like a new baby would suddenly appear the minute we moved in!!
I think he was a bit surprised about how upset I got, I did say that moving house might be his priority but it wasn't necessarily mine and there were a few tears!! He then told me to forget he said anything but I feel all a bit weird about it now.
What do you think?

Sorry you got upset about that PinkPuppy, sounds to me like you may have just taken his words a little too much heart, I'm sure he never meant to upset you or say he doesn't want to TTC yet. He wouldn't suggest you come off the pill if he didn't want a baby, I think he just means, 'Lets not get too carried away temping, checking for OV and BDing on the 'right' days to make sure we catch straight away' rather than 'Let's put it on the back-burner'.
Buying a house is extremely stressful and I can understand him not wanting to add another huge life-changing decision into the mix right now, it's unlikely that a baby would be made when Mum and Dad are under so much stress anyway! You're coming off the pill and it'll take a while for your body to get back into it's natural rhythm so just class this time as the 'getting ready to TTC' time.
I'm annoyed that I have to keep taking my pill until after my honeymoon so really we can't TTC until November since you're supposed to wait until after your first natural cycle. Another month to wait. Sigh. OH was saying how nice it would be to announce a sticky bean to our parents on Christmas day, he's deluded! Maybe for our first wedding anniversary in February!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Bit quiet on here just lately....where is everyone? Keep thinking I'll have pages to catch up on.
Been off pill for 9 days now and getting a bit worried there is no sign of a sort of AF yet. Does anyone know what I should be anticipating??
I just remember being on Microgynon years back where you had a monthly bleed and so am wondering when this is gonna happen after Cerazette!
Whilst we are not going to be TTC until December, I have not touched the other half since being off the pill....this whole thing is starting to become very real and I am more than a little nervous! One of being caught short and the other being the enormity of what we are going into! Arrrhhhh!0 -
I'm here but super busy with work. Sick of reviewing fee and opportunity forms now.
I'm gonna dream about this client tonight....again!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
I'm here too, :hello: but it's getting to our busy time at work now (harvest) so I don't have much time to write anything. Also having problems with my boss (you know-one of those who "never gets stressed") which is really winding me up. I am just making myself think that hopefully this time next year things will be very different..

Hey Magicboo, I'm the same! My boss is a total *!£^! Keep thinking to myself not long to go in having to put up with this idiot. Plus he should just about retire as my intended maternity ends! Also, keep saying to the dog "not long now babbie" (when she gives me that 'don't go mummy' face in a morning)!!! Saddo, I know!0
