I think I'm definitely going to order one for when I come off the pill (in 7 weeks time, eek!). I always used tampons, as found pads always leaked, but I don't really get on that well with them either. Mooncup can't be any worse, and from all the reviews etc I've read sounds like a great solution.

I hate using tampons as I find they are either not enough protection or too much (and then dry and uncomfortable), and pads cause so much irritation.

So, Mooncup sounds like a great solution to me. I like that it will work out cheaper and is more environmentally friendly too :)

Congratulations on your marriage Legal Blonde! :D Have you got piccies to show us?!

I think I'll wait for your reviews before ordering a Mooncup, I'm not 100% sold yet!

I've put a countdown on my computer so I can get excited about going on honeymoon in X days, and I'm also mentally adding 14 to the number so I know that in X+14 days I'll be taking my last pill! I'm really looking forward to it! Although I may have changed my mind once AF arrives! Anyhoo, 62 days 'till Florida and 76 days of pill taking left! :D

You're going to Florida??? I'm soooo jealous! Last went in 2008 and would love to go back. Will probably not bother now until we have kids and they are old enough to enjoy it. Unless I win the lottery of course, and then I'm going as often as I like! lol

    Oh yes, any piccies LegalBlonde??

I remember mentioning the Mooncup to my two closest friends a couple of months ago, and they both thought I was mad! lol

We are indeed! I've been 5 times between ages 7-20 but OH has never been, we decided that we ought to do it before we have kids so we can enjoy the grown-up side (and go on all the big rides without having to look after little Johnny who's too small/too scared to ride!) and we're both huge Harry Potter geeks so we can't wait to go to Harry Potter World! We'll be going back with the kids but that'll probably be in about 10 years as we don't want the youngest to be too young for it all :) I'm really excited as this time I'll be old enough to drink and do crazy things like sit at the bar in certain restaurants, had to sneak sips of my family's cocktails last time I was there as they're so strict about under-age drinking!

I understand completely! 2008 was the first time I was able to enjoy the more adult side of it too.

Although, I must admit, I was sooooo tired some days after being at the parks, that I didn't really have the energy for it. And I went with my sister, her hubby and their two girls, so I didn't have much opportunity to do the more adult stuff either.

I do feel like I took more of it in that time though. Ohhhh, now I really want to go again! lol

I think we'll be too tired to do much after 9pm TBH, OH is terrible at adjusting his body clock when we go on holiday, when we were in the Dominican we were in bed for about 10 every night as we were just too tired to stay out any longer, on our wedding day we went crazy and stayed up 'till 10.30!

It's not so much the night-life that we're interested in (we might manage one night out!) but last time I was there I hated not being able to chill out with a cold beer or cocktail in the sun because I was only 20. I doubt we'll be getting drunk because a) I have planned the trip with military precision and a hangover will ruin the plans, b) we'll be exhausted from all the running about and too full and sleepy from eating so much food to move let alone drink and c) we're old and married now, we don't need to be out partying with the youngsters! ;)

    Hello ladies :j
What a great idea for a thread, can I join? It took forever to read through the 59 pages.
Well I'm 29, my husband is 36, we got married a month ago and we're both feeling very broody.
However we've decided to start TTC on our first anniversary next year, so that we have time to enjoy married life and save enough money for me to be able to take at least 6 months off work for maternity leave.
So for the moment I'll stay on Cerazette for a good few months, I'm planning to stop it early next year.
That's me! Nothing else to say for now, but it's a very informative thread :)
Ps: I've ordered the Tommy book, thanks for the tip!
