Oh man, that sucks! I assume you get no warning of when she'll show up either, right? Bummer

OH reckons he can tell by my mood :o

Euro, I agree with the others, there'll never be a truly 'right' time. We're not really in the 'sensible' position to have a baby; we live in a 2-bed flat, we've (well, I've!) got a little debt, we need a new car, I'm working through a trainee-ship which will be disrupted if I got pregnant as soon as we start trying but... we've decided that we're ready for a baby now. If we waited for everything to fall into place I'd still be here in 4 years time, still waiting for the next promotion, the next car, the next house... life's too short and I don't want to leave it too late and find out that it's not going to happen. We've got a good support network so I know the baby won't go without if we do struggle.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

  • Euro sweetie, in your heart you know what you want to do. You're asking on a board filled with broody women what you should do and you're only going to get one answer. Have a chat with your OH and (if you like) with your parents and take it from there. Only you (and OH) can make the right decision for you.

    When you're right, you're right!

I sent OH an email to ask if there was any update on the job contract, and then he calls me, and wants to know why I'm asking! lol. I can't really talk about it right now, I'm at work, I just wanted an update, and to prompt him to asking at work again if nothing's happened.

Oh well. At least it's busy, so the day is going quickly.

    Thank you everyone xx

This is how I feel. OH and I have just bought a new house so things are costing a fortune, I've been in my job 4 years and the company is not doing too well (we're all at risk of redundancy) but I just feel that there is NEVER going to be a right time. So regardless of whats happens (unless its something hugely extreme) we'll be trying early 2012. We're 25 and 32 as well, so I dont want to wait too long

Re doing the deed - I might be a bit late with this, but we've been together for 4 years (although only together properly as a couple for just over a year) and we DTD probably 4 or 5 times a week when I'm off my period. When I'm on it, its BJs most nights. I swear OH is a sexual machine!!

TBH, we're pretty similar, but he only gets the BJ's during my period IF I am feeling well. Otherwise he can see to himself or get over it. lol
