I feel really rubbish though so I'm hoping that its soon. Im not really enjoying my own hormones, I'd forgotten what they were like! how are you enjoying being a ttc-er for real Rebekah?
Legalblonde- how are last minute things for your wedding going - is it next week?
MANIC!!! which is why i have been MIA and am managing to log on here before the day starts
Thanks for thinking of me! I am so excited I can't wait but there are so many last minute things I hadn't thought of, am really enjoying it though.,
Looking forward to TTC from wedding onwards,

PS I totally agree on the "real" hormones. I was on the pill for nearly 10 years and spent the first few weeks of June now I have come off it thinking I must have been a right nightmare before I went on it lolDebt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016

How exciting about the wedding LegalBlonde! Hope everything falls into place, I'm sure it will be lovely!
I can't remember what my 'real' hormones were like, I just remember crippling back pain for the first three days of my period... not looking forward to that! I am looking forward to being all natural again though, I might enjoy feeling the odd surge of hormonal rage, if OH thinks I can be irrational now... just wait! :rotfl:
I was speaking to my friend at the weekend who is planning on TTC after her wedding next August and we're planning on going away with our OHs and babies the summer after!I have warned her that I will be wearing a massive hat to her wedding to detract from the massive bump I hope to have! OH was (very) drunk on Saturday night and before we went to bed he was rubbing my tummy and saying, 'We're going to have something very special in there soon!'... would have been sweet if he hadn't been slurring and swaying at the time! :rotfl:
Oh and bless my Mum, she works in the opticians in a big chemists (along the lines of 'Shoes' but not...) and could probably find a better job elsewhere but refuses to leave as her discount is so good and she knows she'll need it to stock up on baby things soon, we were walking through yesterday and cooing over the clothes, I even got excited about the fact that we'll have to buy nappies which is sad.

I'm not (generally) someone who gets insanely jealous of women who have babies - honestly, I'm not. But it doesn't seem fair! She's one of those annoying pregnant women too - the ones who use pregnancy as an excuse. That's why she didn't come to our wedding. She changed her mind THE DAY BEFORE.
On top of that, I got on the train with my (relatively) new next door neighbour today and she asked when me and DH are thinking of having a baby. Why is it when you get married everyone thinks that it's perfectly ok to ask that! She hardly knows me! I reckon she's only asking because we live mid-terrace and wants time to prepare for having a crying baby next door
CD6 today and no sign of AF leaving. Hmmm. Maybe I should reach for the chocolate.
After an evening spent cooing after my sister's small and perfectly formed 5 month bump, on Friday night, OH got it in the neck for not coming to bed on time!:rotfl: Thankfully, I did manage to realise by myself that I was being irrational, as I don't usually give two hoots about what time he comes to bed (and why would I?!), and then *ding* - I'm jealous of my sister.
Soooooooo happy for her, but dead jealous too. I want a bump (with a baby in it! Not just the extra fat I'm currently carrying!).
My SIL only has 6 weeks to go too, so my broodiness went off the charts this weekend between them and my nieces and nephew. So did OH's though

:rotfl: Thanks for clarifying that!
I'm getting sick of waiting now. I was in a funny mood last week when I saw a friend and she asked me 'How's tricks?' and I just blurted out, 'I'm sick of waiting! I want to go away now and I want a baby bump now!'... she was a bit scared!
Someone is moving into one of the flats in my block and for about 2 weeks there's been a baby wardrobe and matching drawers (with little bunnies on, cute!) under the stairs in the shared hallway, I've half a mind to claim them to show them that a) you can't just leave stuff hanging around for 2 weeks in a communal hall, I'm sure it's a fire risk and b) it's cute and I'd like to get a headstart on my nursery!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Oh I am so impatient right now! It doesn't help that they bought the pram they bought with them, to store at my parents. And then talking about decorating the nursery.
And, quite a few of me and sis's mutual friends are pregnant too. One is due 3 weeks before my sis, and another is very early stages, but they've been trying for 7 years and been through 3 rounds of IVF to get to this point (including one in which she reacted very badly to the IVF injections and ended up in hospital VERY ill!). She is about 4 weeks further along than any previous pregnancy though, so fingers crossed for them! They really are a lovely couple, and it's been an incredibly tough journey for them, so I hope this one is a sticky bean!
Mind you, the other one had trouble conceiving too. Took two and half years, and she had to have her tubes unblocked, and they lost a baby at 10 weeks too. No wonder my sister was so paranoid she was going to have issues too!
OK, that put things back into perspective for me. Must stop whining.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Hi Everyone!
We dropped to page 4! OMG! lol
Well, I saw the pysch for my last appt yesterday (yay! Obviously, I can go back if I feel the need to), and I discussed how broody I was, and frustrated and generally fed up of waiting. She suggested that perhaps we should just go for it, as we can and will sort out the practicalities over time anyway, and continuing to put it off is obviously making me unhappy.
So, need to have a convo with the OH. I didn't bother last night as I was so tired, and still had some work to do once I got home etc.
Opinions please? Feel free to be honest.

We've been quiet recently!!!
So it's CD12 here and the b1tch just won't leave! This is why I hate the implant.... Been doing a lot of number crunching lately and only today remembered that parents can 'share' maternity leave between them. This helps massively as if I take the full 39 weeks maternity leave, we're left with a £500 monthly shortfall once we've cut back to the essential bills which we're currently saving for. Coincidentally I earn £500 a month more than OH so if I go back to work earlier, things are easier financially and it also gives OH a chance to bond with our non-existant LO.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
