Yeah, she was fine at the wedding. But having not seen her for over three weeks, she's got "un-used" to me!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

My youngest two nephews can be a bit like that as we live about 80 miles from our hometown and don't get to see them as often as we would like. It usually takes the youngest about five minutes before he gets used to his crazy Aunty and Uncle Emsbet acting like a pair of big kids!

I guarantee that is all it is. She's only 2 months, so she probably forgot you in those 3 weeks. Give her time, and she'll recognise you again as a friendly face
It's when they're older and voice their opinions it gets worse. My youngest niece keeps calling my OH stinky and horrible over the phone and webcalls. I think she's angry at him for not visiting her more (he doesn't always come with me when I visit), as she won't leave him alone when we do visit! :rotfl::rotfl:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

You are posh ;-) lol. That sounds a horrid commute. No fast way to work! I went to Stanmore primary. Where did you grow up?
Excuse us everyone! lol :rotfl:
Oh, terribly posh!!I grew up in Longparish too, now I live 1/2 mile from my parents (much to the DH chagrin!)!!
I went to St Peters at Olivers Battery and Peter Symonds for my A levels.
Not a fun commute, over the M3, but it gives me a chance to wind down on my way home from work.
Where do you work?
Oh yes, and sorry everyone!! Perhaps we should go PM RebekahR!0 -
Hi Guys,
I bought the Sainsburys Mum and Bump as they have vitamins and minerals and as I won't be taking my usual vitamin supplements because they have vitamin A, so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone.
I haven't checked, but probably cheaper than buying folic acid and vitamins seperate as Mum and Bump are 3 for 2 as well.
Not enjoying my job at the mo. Planning to start TTC end of 2011/beginning of 2012 and trying to break up the waiting time up by looking to the next stage - start taking Mum and Bump in September and visit the doctors for all the advice etc, so I can deal with the wait without going bonkers and then hoping it will all happen soon when the time comes to TTC. Although I know I might have to do a bit more waiting then. must think of how I can break that up to stave off work madness........0 -

Could I stay here please?
She come yet? :rotfl:I'm feeling lonesome over the other side I need a ttcing/cycle buddy!0 -

Not yetI feel really rubbish though so I'm hoping that its soon. Im not really enjoying my own hormones, I'd forgotten what they were like! how are you enjoying being a ttc-er for real Rebekah?
Legalblonde- how are last minute things for your wedding going - is it next week?0 -
I'm in one of *those* moods today. DH's friend's girlfriend is currently in labour. To put things into perspective they've been together for 9 months
I'm not (generally) someone who gets insanely jealous of women who have babies - honestly, I'm not. But it doesn't seem fair! She's one of those annoying pregnant women too - the ones who use pregnancy as an excuse. That's why she didn't come to our wedding. She changed her mind THE DAY BEFORE.
On top of that, I got on the train with my (relatively) new next door neighbour today and she asked when me and DH are thinking of having a baby. Why is it when you get married everyone thinks that it's perfectly ok to ask that! She hardly knows me! I reckon she's only asking because we live mid-terrace and wants time to prepare for having a crying baby next door
CD6 today and no sign of AF leaving. Hmmm. Maybe I should reach for the chocolate.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Wow, been together 9 months and having a baby today?! Nothing like moving things along a little too quickly! Can understand the frustration, one of my friend's friends found out recently that she's 5 months pregnant (luckily she'd just moved in with her BF so at least they're in a serious relationship!) and when I told OH he said, 'God, why couldn't that happen to us?! I'd love it if you told me you were only 4 months off giving birth!' I think someone's broody! :rotfl:
Everyone keeps asking us about babies too, I've not not been talking about wanting one, but it's like as soon as it's mentioned, people who aren't very close and who have no business sticking their noses in start asking when we're going to start trying. I think it's a bit too personal, what are you supposed to say? 'Why yes, we're actually going to have unprotected sex tonight and I shall be lying with my legs in the air for 30 minutes afterward if you must know!' :rotfl: Might actually try that one next time some nosey so-and-so asks! People at work are a bit like that too, my manager's daughter is due to give birth next week and I can't help but get a bit gooey about it so everyone's like, 'Ahhhh you're soooo broody, won't be long 'till you're having babies will it?!' I'd prefer not to say, especially since I'm supposed to be doing a 2-year trainee-ship and I'm not sure the powers that be would be too impressed if I got pregnant a year into it! Not that's it's stopping me, I'd just rather they didn't know my plans until it happens!
I've had the oddest AF this week, I've not bled at all since starting Cerazette about 4 months ago then all of a sudden AF pops up but it's been really stupidly light, hope it goes away quickly because I'm not into half-a$$ed things like this, it's annoying! Either have a proper period, or nothing at all, you hear me Body?! Really looking forward to stopping the evil pill and actually having normal hormones and cycles again, the more I think about it the more I want to get it out of my system!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
