    Sick in labour..I was:D:D Purely due to the gas & air and as I'd had nothing to eat all day it was purely liquid:j:j and coz I liek things to be clean I even hurled in the loo figured it was less tidying up;)...unfortunately the pressure from being sick made my waters go at the same time:eek: was soooooo funny:rotfl:

    Since #1 is a girl I'd like #2 to be a boy but if I'm totally honest I don't really mind(and I'm not just saying that:p)..I love having a baby girl, it's a bit like having a doll:D:D Plus if its a girl next time then I have more ammunition for talking DH into having the 4 I want:D

    I'd go for natural over caesarean any day.....I hated the c-section and was soooooooo jealous of everyone else who could look after their babies by themselves straight away:o I had to buzz the midwives if hubby wasn't there:( also a section does not always go to plan!

    Ah but the MAJOR differenceis....you can prepare for every eventuality and hopefully have your OH & family there to help you out for a few a weeks after the birth:)
    For me it was an emergency section and was done in a rush(hence things going wrong) and my family were all 100 miles away & were unable to come & see us:(
    A planned section is a lot calmer and not so rushed as the theatre will have been booked for you;) Also you know in advance that you'll need help to look after baby til you're up & about...it was a complete shock for me which did absolutely nothing for my mental state:o That annoying woman on the ward who does nothing but cry even though they've just had a beautiful baby....that was me:o:p:D I blame my mother:rotfl:

    Started taking folic acid today - they were on 3 for 2 in sainsbury's so I picked up 3 months supply. Although we're not planning on TTC until early next year, I thought I'd better start taking it now in case it happens by accident when I come off the pill in September. :cool:

    felt a bit weird taking it at work though - I always take my pills when I get in, so it's the same time each day, and so I don't have to get up so early at the weekends to take them! - I was trying to get it out of my bag without anyone seeing the bottle :rotfl: maybe I'll take the folic acid at bedtimes instead!

    Noticed that my multivitamin says it's not suitable for pregnant women, so I guess I'll have to look for one that doesn't contain vitamin A. I got really anaemic at uni, so I always take a multivit + iron, and I wouldn't want to stop this while TTC.

    I think they check your bloods regularly when preg. And if you need iron you can apparently get it in some sachets that you can add to orange juice?!

    Moog, how about taking the label off the bottle, or putting them into an empty bottle of something else so no-one sees? Those Sainsbury's ones aren't very subtle are they? I don't know why it can't just say Folic Acid rather than a great big 'Mum 2 Be'! :p

    Hello all - gosh a lot has gone on here since I was last around! Welcome to all the newbies and congrats to those who have graduated.

    I've been mad busy with work work and uni work - it's showing no sign of letting up with another massive visit at work next week and another uni assignment due on Friday. The good news is I somehow managed to get a 98 on my last uni assignment - have no idea how as I tied myself in knots over it.

    Weight loss seems to be going well. Recording what I eat seems to really make me think about what I shove in - am down 7lbs on my starting weight now. Really want to try to lose that every month!

    Hope all is well with everyone - what's the weather like in the UK? Are you having a typically glorious summer?

    Hampshire same as Kent. Just had 2-3 days of 23c or so and now its going to rain and cool down again to 18c or something. Joy ... Not! I want heat for weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks on end like the rest of Europe!!
