Surely they can't change there criteria over night..................and why would employees of citi be reading this and thinking "we must make our criteria strict!?"......................Citi are making money from all the custom.
Citibank are a business, and can, like every other business change their criteria overnight.
Citibank would know about this site and understanderably would move to narrow the risk to themselves because with too many high risk customers, they will not stay in business very long.
Citibank do not make any money from current accounts, if you do not pay a fee for it, and run it to the terms and conditions.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
I applied to an account and sent docs back 31st Jan received docs back and letter advising they will let me know.
Just called them and was advised that my application is currently with the underwriters and they will let me know by the end of next week!!!
Does that sound normal to anyone???If Tescos and Asda are lowering prices every day,
how come nothing is free yet? :rotfl:0 -

Can someone please tell me if you have wages paid into citibank which my money was due in today 14th feb, but when i looked at the on line banking my money wasn't in the citibank and it wasn't in my old bank account , so i phoned citibank and i was told there is no record of any money going into the bank account , so i phoned the place where my wages come from to check that the bank detail were right and yes they were.
So now I'm should been paid today and I'm on a waiting game .
I hope i don't have this every time i get pay .
So again when wages are paid into your bank account can you get your money out on that day.
I know it takes 4 days to pay money in to your citibank by TSB .
I hope i have said this right because my head is all over the place.
Thanks:money:  :hello:0 -

I hope someone can answer this very quickly as I am suppose to get paid in to my Citi account on the 22nd. If there is going to be any delays then I will just stick to my other account. If I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -
I applied for an overdraft with them, and just got an email saying that I needed to have a salary of over £30,000 per year :eek:0

Hi garden please tell me you didnt give the paying in book details did you, as they are not your right details just LTSB details I made this mistake, until I got online and saw my true details, account number and sort code are not the same as the ones on the paying in book, so if you gave LTSB paying in book details it will take 4 days to show on your account, check which details you gave to the wages clerk, your sort code is on your card, bottom left corner, I get paid every thursday and its in there from 9am and I can draw on it straight away. hope this helps

Hi CW thanks, No i checked first with citibank the account No and sort code before i phoned in my bank details for my wages to go into citibank.
So citibank didnt know what to say to me .
They said just keep a look out for the money going into your bank account but i cannot live like that.
Thanks:money:  :hello:0 -
I rang up on the thursday once I knew I'd been paid, (benefits) and it takes them 7 days for them to change your bank details, but as I gave them the wrong details and changed them again the following day, (friday) they then went in a day late (friday) the following week, but then thursday as normal the week after, all I can suggest is that you contact your wage clerk as the problem will lie with them rather than citi, its the wages clerk that puts then in your bank not citi. so if they had done there job right then they would be in your account, if you can understand what I'm saying. did you ask the wages clerk to change your details or go with the citi mandate form.

Hi marcellep I dont see it being a problem really as long as you gave them the right details, as it wasn't a problem for me, I am getting my benefits every week, on time, and I can draw on then instantly, hope this helps.
