Recent CitiBank Applicant?

Thanks cw it was benefit that is due in the bank and i checked with then and they have the right details , still no money today 15th feb, god i hope its not going to be like this .

Well i got declined by them, for anyone else that has does it give you a reason why? They say they sent me a letter out and im expecting it tomorrow, would be nice to know why i didnt.

im not being funny Rich but I can probably tell you what this letter will say without even seeing one it will be the standard letter you always get on declines.

Dear Mr ***, thank you for your application for a citibank account etc, unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer you an account. This decision is based on credit scoring you can get a copy of your credit report by sending £2 to the companies below.

Did you apply for the overdraught with your application?

well my app is gone in the post today so lets wait and see, didnt apply for the overdraft thought it would be best to run the account well for a couple of months and then if I need it to try and get it then.

Sent them copy of passport, phone bill. catalogue bill letter explaining dont have cheqye book but have sent aditional id as i was told to do by their staff.

All I have to do now is sit and wait for the rejection letter !.

i will do though with 2 defaults from 5yrs ago and a couple of missed credit card payments over the last couple of years i think my chances are slim

Got the letter today about the changes to the sterling account ... quite a bit to read through but my intitial thoughts are that I'm going to stay with the Plus account ...
