lol, omg, did you hit the person or did you stop in time
I just brushed her with it, no harm done. She didn't realise that an out of towner would be so aware of their surroundings!
Thinking about it, I nearly smacked someone in Nottingham too. I had an open topped bag and felt someone trying to get into it. My other arm flew down and grabbed the hand ... To find a PCSO trying to demonstrate how easy it would be to steal from it. Not on my watch!Gone ... or have I?0 -

To the OP: Sorry your bag was nicked.
To everyone else: Have a bit of sympathy? Sure, she should have been watching her bag but these things happen.0 -

I can honestly say I have never hit anyone (and vice versa), but if anyone tries to get one of my beloved handbags ...Bridesmaid83 wrote: »To the OP: Sorry your bag was nicked.

You don't tend to foster sympathy when you accuse innocent people of theft!Gone ... or have I?0 -
How do you know that the staff are innocent? Do you know them personally?0

Just quoting this stupidity for posterity."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -

An interesting tale, which reminds me of an experience I had on Sunday. I'm always in the West End as I live in London, and my Mum who was staying with me for the weekend joined me for a shopping trip. As it was a sunny day we packed a picnic with the intention of heading to Hyde Park afterwards.
I was trying on a jacket in a store and my Mum dutifully looked after my handbag and pashmina, and followed me to the nearest full length mirror whilst I admired myself. Suddenly I realised that I had left a bag hanging on the rail I had selected the jacket from. The colour drained from my Mum's face as panic set in, and she rushed back to the rail.
Luckily our picnic bag was exactly where I had left it:rotfl::D
