Buyer leaving low stars
Comments
-
If they sent things on time they wouldn't get low stars, it's hardly rocket science, jeez.
..if it was that simple nobody (including myself) would have not 1/2 stars when posting on the same day, just because RM delivered late (like in December with the snow).
If you think it's right that sellers are penalised because of bad weather...0 -
To be honest, I wouldn't use a seller again if they were poor the first time.
It doesn't seem to always follow that the seller is poor, often it is that the buyer really is TSFE & maybe buys online because they aren't safe to be allowed out on their own.
I've had 2 low stars, one for description,
My buyer of a pair of all leather vintage boots, decided that they smelt of old leather, go figure.
The second was, as I said earlier in the thread, a collection item that I offered to deliver as I was going close-ish to their town, they couldn't make up their mind when they would be in so after a couple of days I said I would be able to deliver on a certain day, or they would need to collect. They then left low stars for dispatch time.
I had gone miles out of my way, no thanks from them, or offer of petrol money, but 1 star.0 -
Not hunting though reports trying to figure out who left a low star somewhere (they never have.... Wonder why?) .
it's called luck, darling...
I've ever only had 4 low stars, 1 postage, 1 dispatch and 2 descriptions.
postage and dispatch were in December when it was snowing, I posted as soon as I could, but the PO shut early on a Saturday because of snow, and then it was xmas. Postage was less than actual cost, so it was a 'punishment' because it was snowing and they got their parcel late. Irony is that I even gave them a partial discount to try and soften the blow, so I avoided a neg, but not stars because they though they are anonymous...
For descriptions one was definitely a mistake, the buyer left very nice fb and three 5*.
Then this one was someone who could not be bothered to contact me (they would have had a refund, just to avoid repercussions).
So my low stars have nothing to do with my performance, the quality of my items etc etc, just with a system that does not work.0 -

If you don't mind seeing your seller being kicked out of ebay because of a 1-day delay, then carry one as you are doing...
I see that you quoted me, I hope you realise that it wasn't me who said that I leave 1 star for items arriving a day or so late.:eek:0 -

I thought that it had been a mistake.
Today will soon be over & tomorrow will no doubt be better.0 -

I recently posted something the same day it was paid for, and Royal Mail took seven days to deliver a first class item. Thank goodness you weren't my buyer or that would be another undeserved low star. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

I had someone beg me to let them pay by cheque which I agreed to if he understood that it would take ages for the cheque to clear and get delivered to him. I said I would do so as long as promised not to mark the dispatch time down as it was the cheque clearing that would take the time. " oh no I would not do that. Do people really do that? oh I'm not one of those kind of people" etc ............ 24 hour courier as soon as cheque cleared..............you guessed it DING! :mad:0
