£9.98 is the current correct price for 20 x 330ml bottles of Budweiser. They scanned at £14.98 for EdinburghKev, but I wouldn't assume that they will scan this way for everyone else, as it may have just been some sort of temporary glitch. Therefore I wouldn't recommend going out and buying a dozen crates of the stuff unless you want it anyway.

I thought Kev said he had picked up a pack of 24's? Perhaps these are a different price/promo altogether?

Just a warning that the sims game on the PS2 now seems to be scanning at £22.xx again (not £29.xx) - at least in the store I was in yesterday. Seem to have no problems finding DVDs, but no joy with any of the boose yet...I know its out there

Kev did say 24 bottles, but all of the crates of Budweiser that I have seen in store have been 20 bottles and these have always had the £9.98 price on them. Perhaps there are crates of 24 out there and this is where the R&R opportunity is. In any case, I would just say that people should expect the crates of 20 to scan at £9.98 unless you hear for sure otherwise. Incidentally, I've just realised that they are crates of 20 x 300ml, not 330ml as I originally said.

Had you considered using something like Yahoogroups ( http://www.yahoogroups.com ) for the group?

Dead easy to set up and administrate and you can have it set so that member applications have to be approved by an administrator (and you can have more than one admin) before a person can either post or see what's been posted.
