I p have just been refused RnR on a product. I definaltely saw it at the lower price. I rang the store up who said that it was full price and not on offer. So i went up to the store to check it out, obviously knowing I am right as the yellow large pos was there. but when I went back. The lady only offered me the difference as she knew me and that I used to work there, as though she was doing me a favour! I said that surely I should be entitled to full refund, she said no because she hasnt seen the pos stating the price I saw.
Firstly I would not go and embarasss myself for something I didnt see.
Secondly why would she offer me the product at the reduced price??
What shall I do?
My advice would be to drop it and wait until the next one comes along, sounds like you have nothing to prove your claim.0 -

BUT .... is the "official" line to offer the difference first?
Based on my and others experiences here, that would seem to be the case!0 -

Oh also heard that managers get NO BONUS if their "r&rs" are low. However they are measured!
The edit went in after my last post - Tesco do not pay on a performance basis like that.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

If your sentences were better constructed it'd help. What is a pos?
Was the pos still there or had it vanished?0 -

In the store that I used to work in until recently, all but one of us initally offer the difference unless they know the policy we then give full refund. My manager also said for us to try and get away with only refunding difference even though tat isn't the policy. If this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.0 -
Dear all
just a little off topic but I couldn't resist telling you all about this post I've just seen on the Christmas Board (see link on first post at top of the thread). It's a must have Christmas Card for anyone who R&Rs or even your local CS staff or manager at Tesco who allows all those R&Rs!:D
