The edit went in after my last post - Tesco do not pay on a performance basis like that.

I thinks that was what I said.

So why do some fight it sooooooooo hard?

    pos................... point of sale

The pos was there when I purchased the item but not when I returned.

How long between purchasing are returning? Did you follow CS to the item?

What do you think HO would say if I rang them?

They would back up the store, you have to ask yourself what you hope to gain?

If the item was a £1500 TV then fight your corner, if its a few bottles wine-let it go by, save your argument for something thats worth raising your profile for.

I rang up 1 1/2hrs later, then went in and the sign wasnt there as the CS said, bit i know it was.

Personally I think that she or someone has removed the sign stating the lower price.
If this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.
  • Thats just what I was about to say wlfc1. If it is a book then why bother, but if its an Xbox/Telly etc you may aswell have a go. Suppose that is why Mr kennedy asked what the item was to be honest
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now

    Constantine

We all know the majority of staff will offer the difference where possible, we both know that this instruction comes from management level, I accept that not all managers instruct their staff to take that course of action but it common practise.
  • The item cost £25 reduced to £18.xx and I got 3 of them!

Are the removal of these SELs not logged on a handheld device or similar? I thought I heard my 'Big T manager in training friend' tell me that?

Again, let it go by, get a refund if you don't really want/need the items.

    Take the "Dude approach"

It was my overcharge that Mr. Kennedy asked what it was after being challenged by a very arrogant Manager.
It was and is worth raising my profile for. Still very upset about the whole matter.
