Finally, are meats the best bet to go for when you go shopping? Do their prices change regularly?
Firstly depends entirely on you as to raising your profile in the store, if its one you use a lot then its probably not worth it, just bite the bullet and learn from your mistakes. IMO yes, you should have got the R&R as, like you said, its not down to you to check dates etc but sometimes its just not worth the fight, save it for an Xbox or something!
Meat prices do tend to go up and down so are always fair game for R&Rs, obviously you can never tell what you are gonna get! (which is half the fun, I've probabaly had a more varied diet since I started R&Ring meat) although in the stores around my area they seem to be really on the ball with meat prices, as if there are any differences they seem to be covered over with those yellow stickers! Best bet is to have a bit of a nose if you see someone filling a shelf up with fresh stock.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Because if the seal is broken they wont accept it if you want to return it...?
Oops thanked by mistake!
I'll let you have that one!
Some stores will give you a sealed one, some dont/cant as they are all unsealed, you can always ask for a sealed one or get them to write "sold unsealed" on the receipt.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Re: Photocopied cases.
Couple of reasons its done. One is the item will not fit in a Safer Case - Dr Who Boxset springs to mind but there are others. Secondly, empty cases get stolen as well, which is the same loss as the whole thing as it is impossible to get replacement sleeves. A store would put just the sleeve in a Safer to keep the game/instructions safe in its original box (good idea I think, may try it in my place). Thirdly, by having everything on the department Safered, it gives it a uniform look and makes it Simpler to replenish - if it all has to be protected then it is easier than just picking and choosing.
Not sure about the legality of photocopies...probably isn't and does look poor. But better to try and sell it than just not display it or have it nicked/damaged.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

I think I know where Constantine works. NEVER any r&rs. And its a huge store! Give us some clues!!
Its got a big sign over the door with a T in it.
There is a hard flat surface where cars park just outside the door.
There are a number of wire baskets on wheels spread all over this flat surface.
That should have narrowed it down for y'all....see you in the morningWho or what was I before you came in to my life

i also agree with the r+rers as we are just shwoing up tesco for all the mistakes that they make. each store only has around about £150 budget each week for overcharges although it virtually always over that in store anyway.
That is not correct. The "budget" is a percentage of sales, not a set sterling amount.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
