TescoEmployee wrote:What you mean the stores actually redeem them?? I can only think H/O will pass credit for the stores accepting them but in the end they will simply be a loss on bottom line profits.
That's what I tried to explain to the bod at Asda. Can't see how they can possibly redeem them, as they clearly state that they are for use by the person named on the front and accepted only by Tesco stores. However, he seemed quite adamant that Asda does try to redeem them. He wasn't very high up the Asda food chain, though... I thought it was just a marketing gimmick to entice customers away from Tesco. The loss to be offset against the extra sales generated. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

That thing of kicking out the jargon did not last very long (Stock Record Error always seemed a very long winded thing to say). Job 14/21...PV'ing...but my favorite had to be London Book Stock
Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

Tesco have been known to do this alsoI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

Nothing would suprise me - With falling sales they need all the help they can get:rolleyes:...And they would probably try to flog them as standard ASDA beans rather than Smartprice onesStand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
