TescoEmployee wrote:So your telling me people only shop at Tesco because of their refund policy?? That is an absurd comment so if Tesco suddenly stopped offering r+r or sorted out their pricing issues then they would not longer be market leaders?? Tesco currently have over 30% market share (Double the amount of Sainsbury's and Asda).
Christmas trading is also ahead of plan despite a few glitches with some 'dead' products which are being successfully being cleared out of the business with strong offers etc,
I KNOW QUITE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO WOULD NOT SHOP THERE IF TESCO DID NOT HAVE THIS POLICY,AND CAN I ALSO ADD THAT JUST AS A TESCOEMPLOYEE YOU SURE KNOW A LOT IM NOT SURE THAT ALL TESCOEMPLOYEES KNOW AS MUCH AS YOU OR WOULD WANT TO SAD VERY SAD0 -

As mentioned earlier when posts like the above are made you then wonder why TE respond with nasty comments or become 'trolls'.
Thank you for your comments anyway Kez1234, The information i know is because of a few reasons - My position in the company, The amount of time i have worked in the company and the fact that retailing is my Career.Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

Your command of the English language amazes me - In one post you have used all capitals in another you have used capitals for each word.Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

The Savacentres are a bit of a problem. You'll find a lot of the stores are far too small in terms of floor space. I think the way forward is for Sainsbury's to start buying up land and build when possible. Follow Tesco's lead here, and build up a massive land bank...
Im sure they are kicking themselves for selling Homebase - They mostly had good out of town locations and would have been ideal for a superstore style JS.Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

Not investing in their estate - existing and new - over the last 15 years was Sainsbury's biggest mistake.
That and a woeful distribution network.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0
