    Evening all!
I've had a great day today, have eaten LOADS but all good stuff, and also went out for a 40 minute walk which made me feel really good. As I was marching along the path I noticed that something had been spray painted on the tarmac. On closer inspection, it said 'fat lane' in large letters with an arrow pointing in the direction I was walking. Well, at least I knew I was in the right place!!!
    Green day for me:
    Toast with marmite (HEB)
    milk in tea (HEA)
3 mini babybels and 3 krisprolls (HEA +B)
Quinoa with tomatoes, cucumber, chick peas and spinach
    Banana
    kitkat (5.5 syns)
And I'm going to have some stir fryed veg and noodles in a bit.
That's loads isn't it??? I'm really hoping for a 2lb loss on Saturday so I hope the volume won't be a problem!

Happy Wednesday all.... nearly the weekend now!

NO idea what for dessert yet - need to hunt down stuff with low syn value, unless one of you can give me a quick and easy yummy idea *hint hint*

    Try these for size:-

    2 Syn Delights

    Creamy Chocolate Dip

4 tbsp. Virtually fat free fromage frais
    1 sachet Chocolate Options
Mix the Options into the fromage frais until it is completely combined. To enjoy the flavour more make this in advance and leave in the fridge to allow the flavours to combine.
Delicious used as a dip for fresh fruit

    Rhubarb Mousse

Stew 1lb rhubarb (sweetened to taste with Splenda). When soft, add 1 packet of sugar free jelly crystals (strawberry or raspberry).

Whisk until completely dissolved. Pour into dish and allow to set.

    Yoghurt Mousse

Make up one sugar free jelly using ½ pint of boiling water. Stir well until beginning to cool (it will set very quickly, so you must stir it). After a few minutes add ½ pint of yoghurt (plain). Whisk with an electric whisk until it fluffs up and almost doubles in volume. Pour into a dish and allow to set.

    Chocolate Orange Rice Pudding

Bake 2oz of pudding rice in a pint of water for 45mins. Drain. Then add two tablespoons of sweetener (or to taste), a Chocolate Orange Options and 250ml s/s milk (HEA). Continue cooking for a further 30mins.

    Weetabix pudding

    2 Weetabix (HEB)
1 sugar free jelly (any flavour)
    1 Mullerlight yoghurt

Crush Weetabix & put in the base of a flan dish.
Make jelly to half a pint with boiling water. When cold but not set mix in yoghurt.
Pour over Weetabix then put in fridge to set.

Can use different favours of yoghurt / jelly and can add fresh fruit before setting.

    Raspberry Mousse

    2 tubs quark
1 sachet sugar free jelly crystals, preferably raspberry
    1/4 pt boiling water
    1 bag/tub frozen raspberries, defrosted (approx 400g)
    2 tbsp Splenda

Put the Quark and splenda in a bowl. Make up the jelly crystals with 1/4 pt boiling water and add to the quark. Mix well. I find using a stick blender really good cos it goes all frothy! Fold in the raspberries with a metal spoon then put into serving bowl/s and chill until set.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Well I lost 2lb at my weigh in yesterday - not sure how as I had a terrible week so I need to make sure I keep 100% on track this week so it doesn't come back and bite me on the bum next week!

    So far today:

B: 2 slices of ham - I was running late!

    S: apple and banana

L: Ham, tuna, pickled onions, pickled cabbage and cucumber

S: .5 ice-cream (6) - I ate half of it and had had enough so I gave the rest to DS

Haven't decided what to do for tea yet - possibly pasta

Tea ended up being pasta bol so

T: Pasta, mince, chopped tomatoes, Dolmio Light (2), oats (2.5)

So 10.5 syns and no HEs so will possibly have a glass of milk and a Hi-fi bar in a bi but to be honest I'm stuffed at the mo.

My sleep pattern is pants and has been for a while now. I don't know why, I have no major worries, nice home, great husband, no money worries as such (although could always do with a bit more!)

I usually sit and nod off for half hour about 9 ish while watching tele then don't feel tired so sit up and either watch stuff from the planner or fiddle on the computer until stupid o'clock (sometimes as late as 4 am). When I finally do go to sleep I am awake again at around 7 ish. I don't get grumpy but after 2 or 3 nights like that I am good for nothing. Don't know what to do about it so any suggestions would be very well received. x

I give the most restless (old and missing his late brother) cat a squirt of Rescue Remedy Night and have a dose myself before bed. It seems to work for both of us ... if I have to get up for the loo I try not to open my eyes, and then go right back to sleep when I crawl back into bed!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
