so thats 11 syns accounted for and i plan to have feta salad with pitta for dinner tonight so that should just add another hea + b. maybe a couple more syns if i add some kind of dressing0 -

Just remembered something I was going to say about Success Express (SE)......don't forget that when calculating syns you have to count the highest valu so if it would be 3 syns on red and 4 on green then you have to count 4.
Oh and snacks should be superfree or HEs.
That's really useful lisa, and the other main difference is that you should have 2/3 of superfrees on SE (Success Express) rather thaan just 1/3.

Primmer, I just loved your menu plan for yesterday!:rotfl:I've started to dream about what I might do when I get to target. I'd love the odd pasty, a fish & chip supper WITH batter , a fattier cut of lamb (like shoulder perhaps) and stuffing!:) I know I could have all these things now if I wanted but I find it easier to eat low syn and keep syns for treats otherwise I think I'd want both.
I'm about half a stone to go but my real aim is to get into any Size 12 (currently can only do expensive ones or those that are the right 'shape'). I may rejig my target accordingly but that will all come AFTER my holiday next month.
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS squash, kippers, HB toast, HEA milk in teas, satsuma
L: salad sandwich, bowl of berries with fromage fraissmoked haddock, spring onion mash, roast veg
Snacks: perhaps apple and cottage cheese0 -
Hi everyone
Is it ok to join everyone, ive been reading the thread everyday for aaages. ive been doing slimming world for just over a year now and im 4 pounds short of my 4 stone award and 6 1/s pound off my target. but its going so sloooooowly at the mo. Reading all the earlier post from the last 24 hours (there where loads, my word you lot cant half talk) and i think it was Skintslimmers post about what happens when you get near to target thay made loads of sense.
Wi is on a monday and i lost 1lb but yesterday was not a prticularly good day, cant mke my mind up if it as green or ee but either way i either had a either too many syns or an extra b choice. Im going to try and mix my days up now as for the last year ive done ee religously. Did a green week last week for the first time and lost the 1 (which is a big amount for me as its usually half)
So anway meal plan for today, trying success express
B-ff onken and a nana
L-savoury rice, salad and grapes
D-Chicken breast with nandos sauce (1 1/2 syns worth), huge salad and More fruit

What a bunch we are .... I normally sleep really well - so Mondays nights shinaningins was odd -luckily-last night was fine :j , Good job too as I made my As* get out of bed and to the gym this morning -even though it was the last thing I felt like. I did 4km and then walked home -twas lovely and refreshing on the walk back. I did 4km as it was sooooooo hot n humid as all the machines were in use -so lots of hot sweaty squaddies and little ole me -a splodge of bright pink in a sea of green (and I mean my face not my top) :rotfl:
SO then I am sticking with my red carb curfew (sorry I can't remember who but someone asked about my carb curfew -I just don't eat any carbs after my 12pm lunch -so my 2heBs are used at brekkie/lunch)as usual and it should look like this:-

Im really looking forward to my food today :T for lunch I dropped the thinly sliced chorizo in a hot wok, threw in the onion and softened -then threw in the peas n spinach until wilted and then tossed through the cheese mmmmm it was SCRUMMY
Im still trying to dig out some new recipes -so that will be my mission this afternoon...
Confused -yep I can do the shred DVD everyday -but I still stick to level1 as I see no point in half doing level 2 as I know I couldn't do it all yet

It was me asking about the carb curfew.
After my WI last night and a gain of 1.5lbs maybe I should try it.
I rather think it was being completely off plan for the week that was the problem though.

Thanks MRS M - I did do level 1 and level 2 but it nearly killed me. I have done level 1 again today but don't think I should have cos my knees are really aching now. I am going to persevere though, not one to give up. Thanks for all your lovely recipes and support for everyone. x0

Commiserations to all those who have trouble with sleeping. Its awful as I know only too well. First started when DS went to Afghan on his first tour and have never gone back to sleeping for more than 5 hours since. I go to bed, read a while, feel sleepy, turn off the light and - Wake up!
Today am going for a RED day -
B - Cereal & milk 1HEB & 1HEA
L - 2 ryvita with meat and salad. Apple 1HEB
T - Vegetable soup. Burger with salad.
2nd HEA milk for drinks
Fruit, carrot sticks to munch on and will have some syns later possibly a small choccie bar as just found one in the freezer:EasterBun
