I had to actively try and put the food in on a night, so I wasn't like YAY only 900 cals I can have loads of chocolate, kinda mood! But I did find it very informative, and you can also input exercise (I found this a little more tricky to input) which also tells you how many cals youve burnt.
I would stay away from all artificial light on an evening. Apparenly bright lights 'kid' the body into thinking that it is morning, and release 'stay up' hormones, which stop us from getting to sleep. Try reading a book instead of going on the computer/watching TV.
Last night when I wasn't tired, I had a quiet half hour on the Wii Fit and that tired me out a little :rotfl:
Thanks, I am open to all suggestions. x0 -

Seriously thanks for that used to get A and Bs mixed up last time and it looks like nothings changed.
I always found that confusing, now I remember HEB goes with Breadconfused57 wrote: »Thanks, I am open to all suggestions. x
And I'm listening too. I'm a terrible sleeper, last night was particularly awful. I always wake up at least once and I take an age to nod off. The only nights I get to sleep quickly are when I've had my wine syns.;)0 -

I usually sit and nod off for half hour about 9 ish while watching tele then don't feel tired so sit up and either watch stuff from the planner or fiddle on the computer until stupid o'clock (sometimes as late as 4 am). When I finally do go to sleep I am awake again at around 7 ish. I don't get grumpy but after 2 or 3 nights like that I am good for nothing. Don't know what to do about it so any suggestions would be very well received. xConfused, I would try and avoid that half hour power nap you have at 9, then you may feel more sleepy, or get in bed and watch tele before 9, then if you fall asleep you are more likely to stay asleep if in bed.
^^^^^^^^
That wot susiebear said
I'm terrible if I nod off on the sofa ....even brieflyits a recipe for disaster......I know that I won't get to sleep once I get to bed if I do
If I feel i'm getting so my eyes are 'going' and its waaay too early for bed I just go out of the room to the loo or something where its a bit cooler & it seems to just wake me up a bit, long enough to keep going until normal sleep timeOR If its 9-10 ish I just go to bed & watch telly there untill I nod off (I set the timer for however long the programme is I'm watching plus the next one then it switches itself off if I'm asleep)

Good morning Susie - I actually slept quite well last night. Went to bed at around 1 ish, up for 2 trips to the loo (sorry for too much info.) managed to go back to sleep both times then woke up at 7.15 - thats really good for me but as I said I hadn't had the 9 o'clock nap. I can't help go to sleep around then. I try really hard to stay awake and we don't sit with the 'big' lights on, usually only the t.v. x0

Morning all, well since my eye injury I have gone off the rails and off plan. Yesterday I had a cheese pasty for breakfast, cheeseburger for lunch and pie and chips for dinner ! Oh I did manage room for 1 measly apple
Today hasn't started much better as had 2 sausage rolls from greggs on way to work
I am not going to stay at target if I keep on like this, I need to stop feeling sorry for myself and get back on plan !
Good luck to those WI today and hope physio goes well Dizzy!0 -
