Morning all…today’s going to be tough at work. Not a lot to do so the boredom fairy is more than likely going to be poking me in the direction of the kitchen…
*shopping list – boredom fairy swatter
Last night I pigged out on the jackets beans and only had 24g cheese – it was fabulous and I was a bit stuffed.
Today I’m mixing red and green meals
B – Muller light, apple, Alpen light [1/2 HEB]
L – Tuna, lettuce, beetroot, Fry Light Caesar Dressing [any idea what the syn value is?]
D – asparagus risotto (saw someone else was having that and I thought yummy me too please) parmesan cheese (just enough to flavour risotto, possibly 1tbsp [1.5syn] shouldn’t need more than that)
skimmed milk for tea during the day – [HEA]
Snack – Alpen light [1/2 HEB], Velvet crunch [4syn]
hope everyone has a good day :A
Blimey - I'm STUFFED!! Just had the most AMAZING risotto with just 2 syns for the oil to start off with. Other ingredients: asparagus, courgette, mushrooms, spring onion, onion and garlic...so good
And to end...2 mini chupa chups at 0.5 syns each
I'm a happy happy camper"you say tomato...I say Bite Me" :A

Brians daughter I know exactly how you are feeling, I feel so down at the moment. I would be chuffed though if I had a loss of 0.5lb, cos last week I gained a few pound for no reason at all, so done 3 red days on the trot, WI today and gained another 0.5lb! I really don't understand why this is happening, I came so close to target, and now I am getting further away again, and I am doing nothing different to what I have done all along :-(
May I offer some ideas?
Firstly, is that 3 days between weigh ins? You know I'm going to slap your wrist for thatSecondly, what is your weight loss/gain over the course of the last month? Finally, if you're getting close to target maybe its time to mix things up a bit? I'm a member of a good website (will post details if anyone wants but its not SW, its calorie counting and exercise) and their forum is packed full of ideas to shift the last few lbs, and explains why the last few are sticky (basically because your body doesn't want to get rid of that excess fat, it may need it some day
). Some of the ideas that I think are really good are:
- Up, or change your exercise. So try a new sport, or if you do lots of cardio try strength instead or as well as. If you don't do much exercise, now is an excellent time to up it a little.
- Food -wise, cycle days. They are all about calorie counting so do days of higher and lower calories, but in slimming world terms I'd say it translates to: do a different combination of red, green or EE, try success express, Change your healthy extras from the ones you usually have, try new foods, new recipes, you get the idea. maybe have a play around with how many meals you eat, when you eat your carbs and so on, or if you eat a lot of one type of food try reducing your dependence on that for a while and try others.
might have to try to do red days!
Well known for fried chicken
To wash it down plenty of whiskey  Good job i like diet coke!

HI all!!
I am back (for the LAST time). Well done on all the losses, I have been watching you all from afar.
I was away with work last week and hated the fact that none of my clothes fit me or looked nice. So I decided to join SW online as soon as I got back, which I have, and have been trying to get my head around the lists. I had a vague idea of the principles from when my mum used to do it but clearly that wasnt good enough to lose the weight.
So, I have had a few days of making do with what I had in the cupboards, but Tesco have just delivered lots of nice food so should be fully on plan from tomorrow. As a start though, this is what I had today - any advice anyone (apart from avoid work lunches, but that was impossible today)
B: grapes on way to work. cup of tea (milk HEA) bannana and muller light when i got there.
L: compulsary buffet in a meeting - I chose chicken salad sandwich on brown bread (HEB) but there was mayo in it (2 syns?). Tomatoes and salady bits. Couple of pieces of scampi but I didnt eat the breadcrumbs so would that be free as its basically just fish then? 2 fruit kebab sticks and 1 choc profiterole (5 syns?). Cuppa tea.
S: rest of grapes on way home (is it really ok to eat a whole punnet in a day?)huge jacket potato and salad (rocket, cucumber, tomatoes, sugar snap peas, carrot). low fat cottage cheese. Cuppa tea.
So I think I make that an extra easy day with 7 syns? Does that sound right?
My first target is to lose 1 stone.0 -
Are you sure you aren't in my house?! Still looking. I have even looked in the recycling bin just in case I threw them in the bin in a strop. That drew a few strange looks from the neighbours as I was already in my fluffy green dressing gown quite early in the evening....I have been off work poorly today & yesterday so have an excuse for looking like a lazy mum! I am sure I will find them somewhere...somewhere over the rainbow at the rate I am going!
Hope you find yours soon.0 -

Also how many points in a bottle of white granache anyone? :rotfl:
On the plus side, OH fancied the advert on the telly with asparagus salmon and dippy eggs - and that's free (depending on what I fry the asparagus in) so have bought the stuffworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
