Good afternoon all
What a decidedly manky day it is too -horrible drizzly rain -so everything looks grotty n grubby
Well done on the losses again folks :j and hugs to those having a crappy time of it right now.
Brians Daughter -don't give yourself such a hard time -you are doing really well :T ... why don't you give yourself smaller goals -it makes it much easier -Im never more than 4lbs away from my next mini goal
Well I don't know what is going on with me -but last night -"could I sleep?" -could I eckers like - I was just chilled to the bone and couldn't settle... in the end I had to get up and wrap myself in another sheet and climb back into bed !!! It must have worked as I obviously dozed off ....
Anyway -following on from last nights strange goings on... can I decide what i want to eat today? NO ...gawd knows what is going on... anyway I settled on scrambled eggs and baked beans for brekkie.. did I enjoy it? NO . It really is bonkers -on the up side though at least Im not eating willy nilly whilst I try and decide -so then here is what I Think my red carb curfew day should look like :-
8am
1 apple
2 eggs - scrambled
142g baked beans (B)
12pm
pork steak
white asparagus
spinach
71g peas (B)
4pm
activia (2.5)
strawberries
5 brazils (5)
10 almonds (5)
7pm
salmon
1/4tsp oil (0.5) - to stir-fry
onions
broccoli
spinach
500ml semi (A x 2)
So that makes 2A+B and 13syns
SO lets see if I make it through the day with the plan staying as it is
Hubby was up at 4:30am and he is away playing golf for the day and won't be back until I see him -so Im only fending for myself today..and I plan on doing "not a lot" -....no doubt I will be back on here later ...
Have a lovely day all ...

Brians daughter - hope that you are feeling better. It is very disheartening when you either dont shift any wieght or not enough to be happy with. Remember it took more than a week or two to get the weight on though and chipping away at it slowly but surely is better than a massive loss each week - no matter how much we would all like to do that.
Today am having a GREEN day -
B - Yogurt
L - Ryvita with cheese, cucumber and onion. Apple
T - Leek and potato rosti with smoked cod, coooked cherry tomatoes and pak choi with a poached egg on the top. Can hardly wait. Strawberries to follow.
HEA - Ryvita HEB - Cheese. Fish
Syns will be milk for drinks and snacks are fruit. Have a bit of pineapple that needs eating by tonight.
Have another HEA so may have an cereal bar later.
Going to try and get to local market tomorrow for more fruit and veg as have very little left.MARCH £62.38/2500 -

well dissapointing wi for me last night1/2 lb off.
I did hit the 1 stone mark thoi didnt stay for class as its exam week so didnt even get my shiny
see told you it was a woe is me post lol
I know a lot of it could be down to the fact that even tho i have lost 1st through SW i have lost 2st since giving birth 10 weeks ago..when you put it like that it is a real achievement!
I feel quite disillussioned today tho tbh
I have set myself goals which i dont think are now achieveable and it really makes me feel like saying 'sod it i am meant to be fat!!'
:A Hun...... You have just had a baby 10 weeks ago - and already lost 1 stone, :j:T I don't think you are giving yourself enough credit here at all x x x
Not everyone has big losses everyweek.....its not important, whats important is that the weight comes off eventuallyMy losses aren't massive every week as I'm not able to to do any exercise.....but even 0.5 in a week takes me a bit closer to my target so I'm happy with that
Lo Bush gave some good advice about checking that you are getting your HEBs/HEAs and perhaps throwing some red or green days in or eating different foods to 'shake things up'
Just Dont give up now when you have done soooooo well !!!0 -
micro it - cover it with clingfilm and pop holes in it 1st, this is what I do anyway
I dont have room to store a steamer here and find doing frozen veggies in the micro just as good
fresh ones I just add a spoon of wateryou can buy little steamer thingies you put into a normal pan...

Afternoon all,
Just popping in to post my food intake for today.
EE (as always) for me - although i'm thinking I might throw in a red or green day soon to mix it up a bit once i've read up on them.
B - Weetabix (HEB) with skimmed milk (HEA) and a splash of water. Tea (Milk from HEA)
AM Snack - fruit salad (strawberries, raspberries, melon, pineapple & apple)
L - Chicken pasta (with cucumber, pepper, carrott and sweetcorn for super free) 5 syns (mayo and dijon mustard)
PM Snack - Muller light & fruit salad again
D - no idea. DH & I are going straight for reflexology/massage from work tonight so we won't get home till gone 10  Possibly another Muller light before crawling to bed in a (hopefully) blissed out state!
I'm hoping for a real loss this week as the 2 lots of antibiotics i'm on are causing havoc with my stomachI'm also saving my syns for Friday night as we're going out for my bosses birthday and I plan to drink all my syns :rotfl:
SK xAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -
Good afternoon all

1 tomato
Strawberries/raspberries/natural yogurt
2 sweet potato, broccoli and cheddar patties (½ HxA)
Rocket leaves
Salad cream (1syn)
Pork stirfry
Roast vegetables and feta cheese (HxA)
Frozen strawberries/raspberries
Blueberries - natural yoghurt
2 finger kitkat – 5½syns
My WI day at home is Thursday, I would be delighted to lose ½lb after my binge at the weekend0 -
thank you both!
will try it in the microwave and keep an eye out for a cheap steamer basket thingy
I've seen something very similar in the pound shop, worth a try.
I've got an electric steamer but it's too much of a faff to wash all the bits up unless I'm cooking for loads and need the hob space. I'm thinking of buying one of those steamer saucepans instead.
What I want is a large bowl with a vented lid, big enough for microwaving packs of Batchelors savoury rice. It would be so much easier than covering with cling film and burning myself when I lift it up to stir! Anyone seen one/got one?0 -
Mrs Mc
What is this carb curfew that you are doing? I must have missed the original post.0 -
Brians-daughter don't beat yourself up...you're doing fab. Well done on your huge losses so far :T
Just done my body magic for the day, a brisk long walk in my lunch break to a local farm to get some free range eggs for my tea. I'm so lucky to live and work in the same village and be so close to lovely long walks. Beats going to the gym and fitness videos any day
EE again today:
B: Mullerlight, satsuma, apple
S: Velvet crunch (4), hi-fi bar (HEB)
L: Chilli and pasta bake (1), watercress, cucumber, tomatoes, sweetcorn, red onion
S: Satsuma, mullerlight, ryvita (1.5)Cheese (HEA), ham & tomato omelette, new potatoes or SW chip (can't decide yet), salad leaves (from the garden :T) & salad as above, beetroot. skinny cow lolly (3.5)
