Morning all…today’s going to be tough at work. Not a lot to do so the boredom fairy is more than likely going to be poking me in the direction of the kitchen…

*shopping list – boredom fairy swatter

Last night I pigged out on the jackets beans and only had 24g cheese – it was fabulous and I was a bit stuffed.

Today I’m mixing red and green meals

B – Muller light, apple, Alpen light [1/2 HEB]
L – Tuna, lettuce, beetroot, Fry Light Caesar Dressing [any idea what the syn value is?]
D – asparagus risotto (saw someone else was having that and I thought yummy me too please) parmesan cheese (just enough to flavour risotto, possibly 1tbsp [1.5syn] shouldn’t need more than that)

skimmed milk for tea during the day – [HEA]
Snack – Alpen light [1/2 HEB], Velvet crunch [4syn]

hope everyone has a good day :A

They've given us a nissan micra....It looks like a Noddy car :rotfl::rotfl: Mr D says he will be fine driving (not like me I would be such a girly puff :o) and anyway he said it was not as bad as when his work colleague managed to put them both through the windscreen of the works van a few years ago  ..... he actually laughed when he told me this too :o

Think i've eaten too much fruit today cos i have a poorly tummy..(it wasn't the 4 mini flakes I've had honest:o) feel bloated etc so i'm hoping that won't add anymore weight on for tomorrows weigh in! I definitely need some lightweight clothes to wear:rotfl:

I feel soooo bloated I'm actually considering going to WI naked :rotfl::rotfl:

Nessie.... I think 1.5 is fab after the weekend you had hun!! x x

AND at least you had a good time doing it smiley-happy119.gif (nothing worse that eating just 1 meal that 'really wasnt worth it' and getting a gain :rotfl:

I've got *week and I'll probably get a gain of anything up to that amount or even more if it follows the usual 4 weekly pattern......without even eating much of anything nice (how unfair is that lol) :o:rotfl:

Brians daughter definately dont give up, 10 weeks after having a baby and you have managed to achieve that, that is incredible!! I struggled to wear anything other than my jarmies after my 3 were born so you are doing amazing losing any weight!
Your body changes so much in the first few months after having a baby that you may just be at a sticking point (but you have still lost) and then in next week or so you'l go and have a larger loss. Your doing really well, just enjoy being a mummy and dont worry about wanting more weight off.

WOAH there! give yourself a pat on the back, a baby 10 weeks ago, studying for exams and losing weight? Don't be so hard on yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Ok a few suggestions, having you been measuring/weighing HEB/HEA?. It's very easy to get it wrong when you 'guesstimate'. Have you been sticking to the same HEA/HEB? Sometimes simply changing things about, if you've gotten in a rut, can help. If you normally stick to EE try having a few RED or GREEN days, again a change can give a kick start. How about trying to up your fluid intake, I always get a far better weightloss when I make a real concerted effort to drink more, I'm not sure if thats from the extra repeated trips to the loo (Body magic, lol?) or actually physically taking in more fluids.
I'm sure there are plenty of others who will offer their advice and remember what works for one person doesn't work for another, so it's definitely worth experimenting.

I know from the HEB pages of my food op book that I can have nuts and was thinking I could make my own. Would there be syns if I toasted the HEB quantity of nuts in a frying pan with frylite and some spices ?

i would think this is ok , i used to do roasted chick peas ....tinned ones with spray oil and spices baked in the oven ....free on a green day

nessie your account made me laugh, hope you get that willpower this week

WARNING!! RANT AND A VERY 'I FEEL SOOO SORRY FOR MYSELF' POST COMING UP!!

well dissapointing wi for me last night :( 1/2 lb off. yep, i KNOW its a loss but i was completely on plan for 6 days and on saturday i didnt eat as much as i should due to studying all day so i did expect more. 2 of the days were 2/3 super free too :( In 3 weeks i have lost 2lb so i know its the right dIrection, but goodness its so slow when i consider i have at least 2.5st to loose.

I did hit the 1 stone mark tho :) i didnt stay for class as its exam week so didnt even get my shiny :( see told you it was a woe is me post lol

I know a lot of it could be down to the fact that even tho i have lost 1st through SW i have lost 2st since giving birth 10 weeks ago..when you put it like that it is a real achievement!

I feel quite disillussioned today tho tbh

I cant see where i am going wrong. I have gone over my food diary and i am deffo doing at least 1/3 superfree. I dont go over my sins - i over estimate if anything rather than under. I stick to about 60 syns a week, 65 max.

Portion sizes, i know i love to eat so have been doing sw recipies for 2 weeks and portioning it all up so i know i am having realistic portions and i stop eating when i am full. If i have for example a sw curry i always make sure i leave plenty room for a bowl of fruit salad to even up the superfrees

i cant get moving as much as i would like to burn off some fat as i am still having some probs from my epidural site so at times i can hardly move and the GP has told me not to do much until i see physio in 3 weeks. so this could be the problem?

Sorry for the really negative post, but i needed to vent

Can anyone suggest ways to speed my loss ?

I have set myself goals which i dont think are now achieveable and it really makes me feel like saying 'sod it i am meant to be fat!!'

I am about 4lb off being what has been for several years my usual weight so maybe my body is just stabalising, in the past i have found i can not get past that weight and when i have tried in the past i have given up after a few weeks of trying to get past it but i AM DETERMINED to get past it and to my goal this time

well done all our loosers, and i hope you are all staying positive :)

Forgive me if i'm being totally thick - i've never had a baby or talked to my friends about having babies - but if you're only 10 weeks after having a baby won't your body be producing milk still? or if you're breast feeding would this make a difference.

I wouldn't worry about a 0.5lb loss.. SW isn't about quick loss.. just keep going and you'll reach your target!

    :(:o:(:o:(:o

In other news - i succumbed to the cakes :( bl00dy vanilla custard slice!! 15 syns!!!!!! Dizzy, I haven't even got PMT to blame just pure greed!

well i've blown my syns somewhat today but its weigh in tonight, we'll see the damage and get back on the horse tomorrow!

I'll update my weight gain later :rotfl:

fresh ones I just add a spoon of water
