Good luck Auntycat.
I have 1 syn cupcakes in the oven at the moment, im dying for them to come out!!! In effect I could eat 10!! But I wont of course:rotfl:
I made them more for my son, as he is doing this with me and i think its harder for kids not having sweet nibbley things, and he wants something to go with his packed lunch.
He's doing really well and making some good food choices which for him is a huge start, he has also tried strawberries and grapes....didnt like them but he wouldnt of entertained trying them before this.0 -
Hello!
I've had an ok day today, even thoguh I've been in consultations with the union for most of it. Lunch was laid on, but it was surprisingly healthy and with the use of a few syns I made it through!!
Green for me:
Porridge with berries (B)
Milk in tea (A)
Banana and ryvita (rest of B from porridge)
Buffet: salad with boiled eggs, cheese (A) small slice of quiche (8 syns?)
Fruit salad and a welsh cake (6 syns)
2 slices of wholemeal bread with cucumber and quorn slices (B)
And for dinner it's aspsaragus risotto :j
So I've used 14 syns and both As and Bs. I may sneak in a hobnob later, but as I was under 15 syns yesterday and have the rest of the week to cath up, I'm not going to die in a ditch over a biscuit!!
Have a nice evening allSay what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
Hello all! I'm back from Honeymoon! We had an absolutely fabulous wedding day and ther honeymoon was good too although I did get ill for a day and a half, the plus side being I don't think I'll have put too much weight on and will hopefully still be withing the 3lb range of target so I don't have to pay!!!
I haven't read back but I hope all are ok, have I missed anything exciting?
Today is green:

Confession time for me too, I usually have the weekend 'off' but after wi & gaining I had a 'sod it' day. Not only did I have 'proper' quiche [only 2 small wedges] but practically a whole garlic flatbread  THEN in the evening I finished off the frozen easter egg & bar of chocolate that came with it AND a bag of 'proper' crisps . Hangs head in shame :wall:.
So today has been on plan
B - weetabix hot water/ milk [a] coffee
L - mugshot, couscous & onion fritta, toms, pineapple, melon, activia, breakaway [5]
T - 2 x jacket pots, spaggy hoops, cheese [a], roasted onion, couscous fritta, bbq sauce [1]
Snacks - banana. Pineapple, melon, apple x 2, onken, breakaway [5]
Syns - 11
More fruit if I'm peckish later, I WILL BE GOOD, I WILL, I WILL, I WILLIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

If it's too sweet for you, add a bit of chilli or cumin to it. For some reason a bit of spice takes away the sweetness - worked for parsnip soup for me - but the butternut squash soup I do already has chilli, cumin, sage and garlic in it too.
Thanks for this.
Have added chilli powder and some wocetershire sauce but still not for me, it already had garlic in -however hubby has had one bowl full and I have added a ladle full into the curry made for tea so not a complete waste of money.
The tikka curry is lovely added some peppers and mushroom to the recipie and for afters am having some fresh pineapple.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Welcome back from Honeymoon Lisa !!
Hope you had a lovely Romantic time
Good luck to all those Weighing In tonight
Well the news from the insurance assesors is that there is almost £3000 of damage to the car with Labour charges
They have agreed to pay for it to be repaired (thankfully....if it was an older car they may have just written it off there was soooo much wrong with it) BUT MrDizzy has been arguing with them a bit today because the 2 Alloy wheels that got sheered off completely with the impact need replacing...and they cant match them with the originals....so they were just putting 2 odd ones on one side  (how bad would that look!) so we have managed to come to an agreement with the repair place that we will pay extra and replace the whole set, the insurance are allowing £260 towards them. MrD however found a real Bargain on the net £330 reduced from £580 ....so we only had to put £70 towards the whole lot replacing :money:(plus we have to pay £15 per wheel for the others changing)
Anyway Ive had a bit of a crappy day food wisePMT, and having not much food in (well not much to make a decent meal with until we got the courtesy car at tea time)
I'm still on Green days at the mo.......But I feel sooooooo bloated with the PMT fairy  and HUNGRY......just so flipping hungry .....and stressed ...... Oh and did I mention I had PMT:rotfl:
