Have just made a saucepan full of butternut squash soup as never had it before and people say how nice it is - think it will end up in the bin as its awful. _pale_ Wont be making it again. Found it a bit to sweet and sickly. Not to worry at least we have tried it.

If it's too sweet for you, add a bit of chilli or cumin to it. For some reason a bit of spice takes away the sweetness - worked for parsnip soup for me - but the butternut squash soup I do already has chilli, cumin, sage and garlic in it too.

    Hello again guys,

well i have decided I must go back on sw!!!

i lost a stone between september and january but then i moved house and let myself be off plan cos it was so chaotic.
then when i went to restart i got vertigo/labarynthitis and was too ill to cook so i let myself be off plan again.
that lasted about 2 months in the end but since then i have just been lazy to be honest.

but i weighed myself the other day after finally buying some new scales (weight watchers digital) and i have put on 5lb already!!!

so i am starting again from today with home weigh ins

    todays food so far;

    b - mullerlight, 2 x alpen lights (heb), grapes
    l - mullerlight, apple, wotsits (4.5)

will have a big dinner but not sure what yet so i havent commited to ee or green.

also i have had to start having benecol pots for my cholesterol. does anyone know how many syns the dairy free tropical one is???

I love Velvet Crunch Crisps - I get mine in Sainsburys and also love Worcester Sauce flavour French Fries and have just bought a multi-pack for this week.

Today has been a disaster, ended up going to hospital as I got something in my eye yesterday and it was really painful today and found out I have an abrasion on the pupil of my eye - no wonder it has been so b....y painful:mad:

    B - 2 alpen lights (heb)
L - Jacket spud with cheese and salad
    S- bounty bar?
D - not sure yet - depends what I feel up to cooking later

Hello! I've only posted a couple of times before (for advice from you die hard SW know it alls!!) but I always read all your posts (not in a stalky way!) for inspiration! I started just under 3 weeks ago, at home rather than classes, and have lost 6lbs - probably could have been more had it not been for the creme egg monster and the fact I don't eat enough fruit! MRSMCAWBER - am I right in thinking you've lost over 9st?! That's amazing! Definitely a massive boost when the curly wurlies are peeping out the cupboard and calling my name!
Currently living on stirfry (noodles with asparagus, mange tout, sugarsnap peas, petit pos, sweetcorn, soy sauce and a bit of Nando's garlic peri peri for spice... soooo delicious!) and jacket potatoes with beans as green days are definitely for me. Boyfriend has also done it with me for support - he's lost 12lbs the jammy so and so!!!
Anyway, thanks for all your posts and keeping me going when I want to cave in and eat 25 bars of Galaxy :D
