We will hopefully get a courtesy car on Monday when they have assesed the damage. Hes having Monday off as his back/neck are still bothering him (his back is bad anyway, he had a scan recently on it) I think this has just aggravated it & possibly got a bit of whiplash in his neck......but as he says, because it was not anyones fault other than road conditions its not something the insurance covers anyway :(

Gawd you're brave sorting MrMs wardrobe out  MrD is sooooo fussy......even with his workclothes (which are his 'old' good clothes) he does maintenance and lays tracks for the railway & roads and theyre covered in great big orange safety overalls BUT he still knows what he likes underneath:rotfl::rotfl:

I might pick up a SW magazine for some inspiration too. I'm not sure I've got my head round the superfree / speed thing. I've only put things with 'SS' against them in my guide on the Superfree column of my food diary. Is that wrong? (Perhaps I'll ask my consultant to look as she hasn't asked me!)

SS are super speed foods so if you're having a third of them with every meal you should have a good weight loss. Having said that a lot of fish, beans, peas and sucjh like are superspeed foods but not super free.

Superfree are most fruit and vegetables but not peas, beans, chickpeas and parsnips.

I don't know whether that makes any more sense.

Morning all  Just woke up

Today, OH wants to make a HM pizza so we are on a green one today. Im going to try to pile in as mch SF as poss as yesterday the chocolate fairies got meby the throat and forcefed me some M&S cake bars on top of the dime bar. a 2 finger kitkat... milky way crispy rolls... whoopsie!

OK to redeem myself I have had
Banana, half a dragon and a muller
Luncheon will be eggs mushrooms toast HEB and beans OR without the toast and with cereal
Dinner will be WM pizza ( 2xHEB) plus HEA low fat mozzerella - tomato/onioni/mushroom/pepper/spinach plus jacket potato & salad.

Have to pop out to get more supplies, need something for HEB we have no bread, cereal or anything in the house and OH does not like Pagens (how odd!) and of course more fruit and veg and cheese for the pizza.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I haven't read backwards but I bet you have all had great losses so well done to you all highfive2.gif

I'm so glad you enjoyed your holiday magnolia. IMO weight that goes on quickly can come off quickly so just jump back on the wagon and you should be fine. I read an interesting article in an old SW mag about holidays. It suggested 3 possible approaches:
    1. stick to the plan when you're away (easier done when self-catering)
    2. do flexi syns so do your best but maybe have a few extra treats
    3. the 's*d it' approach (although they didn't call it that;))
I'm all for the third option but the article said that the choice you make will depend how confident you are to return to the plan. Personally I think that even if you go for 'forget slimming on holiday' you will still make some wise choices as healthy eating gets ingrained after a while with SW.

I'm heading off to stock up on syn free yogurts, frozen berries, cottage cheese and a variety of HEBs today though and we'll do an extra easy day with a really satisfying roast! I want to fit some serious exercise in this week too - determined to get under the magic stone mark but feeling static. I might pick up a SW magazine for some inspiration too. I'm not sure I've got my head round the superfree / speed thing. I've only put things with 'SS' against them in my guide on the Superfree column of my food diary. Is that wrong? Have a happy Sunday everyone.

This is very confusing scotrae and it took me an age to get my head around it. This is what I understand (I think). Superfree is what you must have at least a third of on EE. That's fruit and veg. Superspeed will help your weightloss so we should eat those as well. There are only a few things that fall in both categories (melon, grapefruit, strawberries etc) which I why they're so popular with SW members. Most SS things (like beans) are free but don't count towards your 1/3 superfree so you need to eat them as well as your superfree. HTH

Hi all, well a bit of a disasterous day for me yesterday.. had to go into uni to do some last minute changes on an assignment and stupidly forgot my library card so once i was in i couldnt get out without paying another £7 for a 'day pass' so there i was from 9 til 8 with just an apple to eat :( cafe was shut as it was weekend.

Got home and felt too sick to eat as i was so hungry so yesterday i ate the grand total of 1 apple and 1 alpen light bar - not good!

Today is slightly better, but not much lol - last exam tomorrow and i am cramming.

B wholemeal barm (HE) bacon and toms
L missed lunch as i have just realised it is 2.45
D will be either cottage pie with veg or sw chicken curry with a side salad
snacks milk (HE) fruit and toms & VERY probably the aero i have in my fridge (been there 3 weeks now whoo!) to celebrate finishing the year

I will be back to normal after tomorrow so will be 100% back on plan and actually having time to eat.... nom nom nom :)

WI night tomorrow, so we will see how i have done this week. 2.5lb is what i am really aiming for
