    Hello everyone

Mind if i join you? i went to my first weigh in yesterday ......well first this time around if you know what i mean ! ;)

At my heaviest ever weight mainly due being a sedentary mature student for the last 3 yrs and partly due to being unable to exercise due to a degenerative spinal problem. Recognise a few faces ....waves to Mrs Mc
    :)

I like green days best, as we dont eat much meat but rather stupidly came away from class without web password .....got all the books though and some recipe books from before Going shopping later and starting properly tomorrow

Having a terrible day today. Think my situation has hit me today and just crashed watching carp tv and wanting to eat!! I had my syns dime and 3 hobnobs and gonna stick to plan for Dinner. Had strawbs and blackberries and yoghurt for breakfast. Just feel cold and depressed today. Not to mention the flights I have been watching to go down before I booked them have gone up £50 per person. The stress is getting the better of me!! Itl be a long weekend to see if they come down again by Monday, I still havent told the kids!

    dizzyk - I BLOOMIN LUV YOU!!!:T

*phew* so I've not destroyed myself in two days (give me a chance...it'll happen)

I think I'm going to have to grab my book and a marker pen and 'syn' all the stuff in my cupboards - kinda makes sense I think...well to me anyway.

Today Red/Green mix not EE though
B - Muller light, Banana, Strawberries, Tea
L - tuna, salad leaves, tomatoes, spring onion, 2 tbsp Waitrose Low Fat Caesar dressing (no idea what the syn value is - probably about 5)
D - Short wholegrain brown rice (yummier than any other rice I've ever found and also excellent to help shift heavy toxins from the gut), Quorn mince, chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers, (bolognaiseish)

    HEA - skimmed milk
    syns - 2 jaffa cakes (4)

I hate it when people leave work - they always bring a gazillion cakes and sweets! I was tempted by a jam donut but 12.5 syns isn't worth it

as my title suggests, today is Friday and I have a Freddo at 4 o'clock every Friday...it's just to keep the madness at bay you know (that last hour at work is a killer)
So every Friday I will save 5.5 syns for my little bit of Freddo yumminess :)
"you say tomato...I say Bite Me" :A

Well I am not a happy bunny, weighed myself on wed and wii said I had gained a pound, so kept it to myself thinking it was probably water, thought give it a few days and WI again, just weighed and wii said I had put on 2lb
I assumed this was a total of 3lb gain for the week, but when I look back at the weight graph it only shows 2lb gain, so I am wondering if it calculates the total weight gain since I set my goal, so in facts its a 2lb gain. I really don't get it though I have been extra good this week, not had a thing I shouldn't have, stuck to plan religiously as I was hoping to meet my target, and now I am further away
Was planning a flexi night tonight, as having a few friends around for a drink and bite to eat, but I am going to be good, as I don't want to see more gain. I have saved 30 syns up too, so will just use them on drink, and won't eat anything I shouldn't.
Very disappointing, no idea why this has happend, feel like giving up but I won't!
Haven't been sleeping too good, or going the toilet very well either, I always find sleepless nights lead to lack of number 2's, as if my body hasn't had proper time to work its magic when sleeping.
    :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I wouldn't take your Wii measurements as the be all and end all!
If it is an actual gain, i'd be tempted to say its because of lack of sleep/toilet/water retention -ect. The body goes a bit mad if it's not working properly!

I'd have your enjoyable night, and see if that shocks the body or something. Have you reviewed your meal plans, perhaps it's getting a bit 'samey' maybe?

I'm really struggling to plan meals at the moment, the OH is working ridiculous hours at uni for his final year, so i'm grazing more and not having proper teas till around 9:30 and getting fed up of cooking/not knowing what to have and I keep just binging on food. Not anything SW unfriendly, but surely a bag of carrot sticks and a pack of crabsticks cannot be good calorie intake wise.

Today I just cannot decide what I want to do foodwise at all! I'm having a green day though, thats a definate.

But, do I want alpen lights as my HEB, or to have some ryvitas, so I have a tea where I use my HEA as cheese, or do I have a cup of options later on, or do I have the cheesy tea and syn a cup of milk? Do I want quorn curry, or spag bol, or shall I use my salad up and have jacket potato, do I want a stir fry - but i've already had noodles for lunch ect. ect. ect.!:mad:

This is what is happening everyday, and it's making me go off plan/go crazy!

    So far today has gone:

    Breakfast
mini choc weetabix (34g) (HEB +1)
    125ml ss milk (1/2 HEA)

    Lunch
wetherspoons chilli noodles i think (3.5)

    Rest of day = ?????????????????????????

Hi everyone - I've just found your thread & found it very interesting.

I've been yo-yo dieting for ages & nothings coming off at all now. I've never joned a slimming group before - "why pay for someone to weigh you & tell you you're fat?"

Your thread has got me interested though - I've read the first page & don't really understand - do I have to join a group? will I then get all the details to understand the plan? I don't really fancy that & also isn't it expensive? Are there any offers?

Any help please would be gratefully received.

    Thanks

My consultant said if you were cooking for more than one person, then divide the syns by how ever many people are eating the food too, so if cooking for 4, the syns work out at 1.5 each person, don't know how right that is though.
