Hi guys! Took Brian's Daughter's advice last night and plucked up the courage to go to my first group meeting. Spent a whole hour trying to find it as im moving shortly and thought it would be best to go to one near there. So an hour late and I sat in there listening to their losses and gains, they had a raffle for a basket of fruit and another for veg, apparently normally the slimmer of the week gets one and they raffle the other but there wasnt one. After they'd all gone she very quickly went through the EE plan with me, still not 100% on what im doing but she said to call or text her if im not sure. Had a small banana, 2 weetabix and 200ml milk for breakfast and used the remaining 50 in my tea. Not quite as organised as most of you yet with what else im going to eat today but there was one question I wanted to ask; I bought a Mr T finest meal deal the other day and would like to eat it with my husband tonight - can i just go without syns this week to allow for it? I bought it before I decided to start SW and don't want to waste it.

My advice would be to have it today, with loads of veg, but also sit and plan out what you are going to have for every meal this week and do your shop accordingly, try and use up stuff in your freezer though if possible. It helps you stay on track but also stops you popping to the shop all the time and getting tempted. Itl be hard for you to do a proper day today anyway if you havent planned what to have.0 -

YAY!! I would echo what pp said. I shop with a plan and a list (goodness, in times gone by these people with losts really annoyed me with their super orgainsation lol)
If you can afford to in this weeks shop try and stock up on things. I have 'emergency' frozen fruit and veg in the freezer, as well as frozen herbs and garlic etc and loads of lean mince and chicken so if i cant get to the shops (which happens often with 3 kids, uni and work!) i dont have an excuse for eating pziza lol
Use the sw website and look at the meals on there, then print them off if you are going it alone, so you ahev plenty of ideas. You will prob see a common theme re foods you like that you will need to buy. (or i do, cause i am predicatable lol!)
I really dont like knowing today what i will eat tomorrow iykwim? so i usually have the most versatile stuff in basics pasta, rice, noodles, spuds, chicken, lean mince,as well as the fruits and veg then i know i always have meals in
Read your books from cover to cover, and then do it again! lol. it took me 3 goes to grasp what i was doing and even then i wasnt too sure!
ANyway, ee for me today
B bacon on brown barm (HE) tomatoes, mushrooms
L salad with chicken
D sw syn free korma with rice and then fruit salad for later
snacks
Milk (HE) for teas and coffees, fruit tomatoes (as always!) the local greengrocer has asked if i am pregnant as i must be craving them i buy so many:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Saving my syns for a glass of vino and a mini milk later, but wont go over 10(or thats the plan!)
I would liek to loose 2.5 this and next week. That takes me to my 10%0 -
Well I am not a happy bunny, weighed myself on wed and wii said I had gained a pound, so kept it to myself thinking it was probably water, thought give it a few days and WI again, just weighed and wii said I had put on 2lb
I assumed this was a total of 3lb gain for the week, but when I look back at the weight graph it only shows 2lb gain, so I am wondering if it calculates the total weight gain since I set my goal, so in facts its a 2lb gain. I really don't get it though I have been extra good this week, not had a thing I shouldn't have, stuck to plan religiously as I was hoping to meet my target, and now I am further away
Was planning a flexi night tonight, as having a few friends around for a drink and bite to eat, but I am going to be good, as I don't want to see more gain. I have saved 30 syns up too, so will just use them on drink, and won't eat anything I shouldn't.
Very disappointing, no idea why this has happend, feel like giving up but I won't!
Haven't been sleeping too good, or going the toilet very well either, I always find sleepless nights lead to lack of number 2's, as if my body hasn't had proper time to work its magic when sleeping.

Didn't make it to WI last night. I was at a funeral and had a few beers at the wake afterwards (well a lot actually
), but I didn't eat any of the delicious looking food that was there, which is probably why I feel a bit carp today. Haven't made anything for my lunch either so I will have to choose something good from the shops. I'll WI tonight on the Wii fit instead I think....I'm pretty sure I've lost something.

The cheese & broc batchelors one is 0.5syn for the pack - if you use milk & butter you have to add syns & use healthy extra
The muller light with choc sprinkles are free - but not the one with the cherry layer - they are 2 syns
