I did manage to stick to plan yesterday (8.5 syns) despite my car failing it's MOT due to the brake pads being 1millimetre to thin :mad::mad: I'd had it serviced last week!! It's back in this morning to get them done so I'm on public transport again today :mad: On top of that my bl**dy 'puter had a wobbly last night so I couldn't get online !!

    *deep breath, think calming thoughts*

Today's plan, Green as always :D

B: Polenta, eggs, ketchup (see earlier post)
    S: yoghurt, banana
L: Salad, new potatoes, quorn fillet
S: More fruit and maybee an oaty bar
D: SW quiche, new potatoes, veggies of some description

Dancing tonight so Cheese on toast for supper HEB + HEA!

Well done all the losers :T

Skintslimmer - I feel your pain! OH has been in a similar situation
  • Morning everyone. I've now got day one under my belt - this was what I had yesterday on EE:
    B: 2 weetabix (HEB) & Milk (HEA)
L: Tuna mixed with pasta, 1tbsp light Mayonnaise (2 syns) and salad
D: Rice mixed with red pepper, onion and mushroom with some soy sauce
Snacks were mixed fruit salad, ww yogurt, 26g bag barbecue snack a jacks (5.5 syns) and one large snack a jack barbecue (2 syns). So 9.5 syns for the day.
Can someone let me know if this looks okay and I've not counted something as free when it shouldn't be? Thanks!

    MORNING GUYS!!!
Well EE (As always) for me today. Aiming for another 2/3 day superfree today, so we will see how it goes.

    B Alpen lights x 2 (HE) apple

L Salad with egg and cooked ham balsamic vinegar dressing (not too sure about the syns -so will syn at 2 but will only have a dribble)

D Steak, (yummy!) jacket, lf cottage cheese (2 syns) salad fruit salad and muller light for dessert

Snacks will be fruit and MORE toms (can you actually eat too much of one fruit/veg? I am on my 4th punnets of cherry toms since monday!) and a mini milk later (1.5 syns)
other HE will be ss milk for teas and coffees

I know this sounds ridiculous but i actually 'feel' lighter today? lol.. i am going slowly insane i think... maybe i have overdosed on the toms eh? :)

Does anyone else feel like loved ones are trying to hamper your weight loss on purpose? Or is it me being paranoid?

MIL comes to SW with me and if i loose more than her she really gets annoyed! I want her to loose as she wants to loose, but if she looses more than me i am still happy for her, her weight loss doesnt effect mine iykwim? Anyway, these last 2 weeks shes been 'sending treats round' 2 or 3 times a week that shes bought whilst out shopping, both MIL and FIL are on the plan, so shes no need to buy them. Things i love too like ben and jerrys (nom nom nom)

She says they are for the children but seeing as the 2 eldest have dairy allergies (which she is well aware of and has been for many years) and dd isnt yet weaned, so its a poor excuse! Last night she sent FIL round with a new york cheesecake that was 'on offer' Now, the kids cant eat it, my hubby doesnt 'do' sweet stuff so that leaves me :( I actually sent it back round with him and she made him bring it back (?) so i gave it to next door lol.

Maybe shes just being nice and i am reading too much into it. She has said that she goes on holiday in 10 days and 'i had better not loose whilst shes away' ok, maybe it was in jest but then she starts sending all these wonderful naughties round...make sme think she actually means it :(

I might even be tempted to take the treats and put them directly into the bin. Why give you something. Is she getting them on bogof and giving you half so she doesn't have them in the house.

My sabotager-meter is sky high with your MIL. Of course she is out to sabotage you. Ever so common *big sigh*

Anyway off to library today so not sure how it will go, Ive had my fruit & yog this am and HEA milk in teas. So I think we are on EE

I hope I can get a hot chicken salad or something!

However, having chinese style tonight of boiled rice + chicken+ pak choi + peppers+ bamboo shoot +onions.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Ditto. Squirt bleach/fairy liquid etc all over it before you do if you think you'll be tempted to fish it out, or it not make it all the way to the bin ;)

Flipping woman, I'm quite annoyed at her on your behalf. My cunning plan would be as above, but then be quite smug in class when you lose nicely, and turn to her and say "Oh that cheesecake, ice cream etc was yummy, I was ever sich a pig and ate them all and look at how much I've still managed to lose" :D All's fair in love and war, right?

Oooooorrr... Invite her round for coffee, and feed her all that food: don't offer it to her, just turn up with a big slab of cheesecake on a plate for each of you. Oooorrrrr... work out 5 syns worth (i.e. 1/2 scoop of ben and jerries, or a teeny slither of cheesecake) and present it proudly for each of you, and pretend that this is what you do with every treat she sends around (whilst secretly throwing the rest away the second her back is turned). That must naff her off and could hopefully stop her bothering trying to sabotage you? If she carries on or ups her game, or invites you around for coffee I'd just keep on throwing them out and get inventive with reasons why she needs to come over to yours. ;)

In short, I'd have far too much fun with it!

Going to weigh in tonight instead of in the morning as my 14yr old son wants to come with me, so I am a day less on plan this week and fretting! Ive been good though so should still lose I hope. My son needs to lose about 1.5 stone but he has a major food issue, he wont eat anything that isnt beige! It drives me mad, my other two will eat anything thats put in front of them but he wont, hence his meals are so boring and minimal, he then proceeds to eat biscuits crisps and sweets as he isnt satisfied. He has about 10-15 things that he rotates to eat. I find it so difficult.
We are both hoping by joining me he may overcome some of his issues and get a better diet aswell as shifting the excess weight. He actually suggested joining so Im hopeful.
Decided I wont eat my main meal until after class tonight to give me a better chance on the scales! Wish me luck I need it after the week ive had!

Morning all, I've got my WI tonight and hoping for great things. Thanks for the 'welcome back' s.
RE: Sabotaging loved ones, I think most of us have experienced that to some extent, other halves tend to feel threatened by the new, slimmer, more confident you. Parents worry that you aren't eating enough and will disappear before their eyes, and some people are just plain nasty. There is no easy answer to any of it, just another issue that has to be dealt with along the way, I guess.
RE: Feeling lighter, I have days when I feel HUGE and others when I feel quite slim ( I know which I prefer) I don't know why that is because when I stand on the scales theres usually about a lb difference, but hey I'll accept that 'slim' feeling anyday!
