Been on the Wii Fit for 15 mins today, and did two lots of jogging. I'm slightly knackered now, and my stomach muscles don't know what has hit them with that hula hooping game :rotfl:

I've been on 5 days in a row now, for 20 mins each time (except today OFC) :D I feel positively :A

I'm off to leeds tonight, so I'm really not sure what kinda day it's gonna be, just in case we decide to eat out or something.

Today is a Red day for me.

    B frozen blueberries/strawbs & yog

L Ham & mushroom 3 egg omlette 1/2 HEA light cheese satsuma x2

T chicken stir fry, Asda cheats veggie pack. (garlic,ginger,5 spice, soy sauce)

HEB 1&2 Toffee oaty bars, HEA 1 milk 1/2 HEA2 cheese.

I made some luvverly 'ice cream' last night using SHAPE yogs (multipack rasb/strawb flavour) OMG it knocked the spots off mullers.....soooooo creamy just like real ice cream :p I put it in a small tupperware and took it out to stir it up partway through and it was flipping gorgeous!

Had a nice meal yestderday at the Toby......but was most dischuffed to find that they were doing MASH & Roasties instead of new potatoes  (Ive only ever seen new potatoes when I've been before ) anyway after a LOT of thought & battling with the food fairies I didnt have any:T I just got extra brocoli, cauli, carrotts, bit of swede (mashed suspect with butter) peas and 1/2 ladle gravy to pour over my yorkie. Just to be safe I counted a whole days syns & didnt bother with my choccie options last night :o

Thanks Nessie. Yes I know I CAN DO IT but in a way that makes it worse, because if I can do it then why don't I just get on with it instead of messing about the way I have been, I know exactly What to do, what I can/can't eat, when my danger times are etc. but I still do it all wrong sometimes, even though I know it's wrong, give me strength.

I just read that back and it doesn't make a lot of sense but hopefully you get what I mean!

It does make sense - we all do it - i am unsure why - i have been like it for the past 6 months or so - you just need to find that reason why you want to lose weight & keep thinking of that when you reach for the biscuit tin or chocolate!

I should listen to my own advice :rotfl:

I hope that i have found my mojo again as i know i will feel o much better with the extra lbs off!

Hi everyone. Firstly, well done to all you losers, hang in there if you didn't this time. And if you are finding things hard going at the moment, I am thinking of you and wishing you well.

I went and bought a bag of natco cornmeal (easy, got it at Tesco, as you said, under £1) and have been looking for recipes. I found one on the BBC Food Recipes website for polenta pizza, which hardly needs adapting at all to be SW Friendly. Am I correct in thinking that using polenta in this way would still be free on EE? If so, I shall try it, you could add all sorts of stirfry veg, and even transmogrify it into frittata or quiche.

I added up my weight loss since Christmas at the weekend, and was astounded to realise I had already reached my 3-stone target! So now I have set myself another stone, hopefully by the start of school holidays. I had to go on an emergency knicker-shop this week! I was SO chuffed!

Weekly classes - does anyone get fed up with them or is it just me?

Every week it's the same -

Jane, you've lost 2 pounds this week, well done. (Everyone claps.) What about the week ahead? Another 2 pounds? Go for it!

Mary, you've lost a pound this week, well done. (Everyone claps.)
What would you like to lose for next week? 2 pounds, yes, well, you can do it. Go for it!

Sandra, you've lost two and a half stones all together. Well done. (More clapping, a bit muted because we know she's either gained or stayed the same.) Not so good this week though, what do you think went wrong? Blah blah blah............... What do you hope for in the week ahead?

So it goes on................... for about an hour and a half, depending on how many have stayed. I could scream sometimes!

I'm starting to weigh and go these days, but resent paying £4.95 just for that. Years ago I used to go to WW and it was different every week, different topics for discussion, sometimes things weighed out so that you could see portion sizes, a new recipe etc etc. It was interesting!

Is this just my class that is so bloomin boring?

Ive only gone to class two weeks and theyre getting on my nelly already....for exact same reason.....and the two old dears who think they own the place! Then theres the ones who they ask why do you think you have sts this week, and they proceed to give you a blow by blow account of the weeks events and what the husband said and which bus they caught by which time I am ready to lose the plot as could be at home earning money instead of listening to thier drivel! I might just stay to class one in every two then in summer months when im really busy and cant afford not to be sat here working il not stay at all.

I'm glad it's not just me! I suppose as long as the Consultant gets us through the door with our money then it matters not if we then !!!!!! off home.

I feel like telling her that I'm bored to tears, and I can't be the only one.

Are consultants bound by some contract to stick to the same format week in week out?

    Afternoon all!
Big hugs to everyone having a hard time - it'll get better xxxx

After the 0.5 lb gain yesterday I thought I might waver but I managed to stay on track and had just 7 syns. A small triumph after being pee'd off!

    Today's food (green)
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
    Mid Morning - banana
Lunch - Tesco Finest moroccan couscous (2.5 syns), grapes, satsuma
Tea - big bowl of SW egg fried rice with lots of soy sauce
Planned Extras - satsuma, sugar free jelly (1 syn)

So, that's 1 B choice, no A choices (not bothered today and have had plenty of cheese lately so won't develop rickets overnight!) and 3.5 syns so far. I may have an ice lolly (1.5 syns) or something else later.

My consultant is not like that - fair enough we have had a couple of those weeks & my old consultant was like that - but we have done some different things e.g. secret weigh in, this week was split into groups & figured out what to do for a dinner party, come dine with me groups etc.

You have to be a little understanding as there are not many other thing to do & alternative things takes time to prepare etc.

I think it all depends on the consultant

Also, it is a group to discuss how well you have done & what you can do better!

Maybe talk to your consultant on the side and ask her if she could mix it up a bit - give her some suggestions aswell!

Perfect Q to ask yourself is how would you do it?

P.s. please don't take the above to sound rude, reading it back i do sound sharp, but i don't mean to be :o

Just been for my WI after holiday gain and I've lost 1lb which is good considering I haven't really been sticking to plan. Maybe I've been subconsciously careful, I'm not complaining though !

Going to have a 100% week and try to get to the gym at least 3 times before next WI.

Our class is pretty much the same too, I didn't stay tonight as I've got far too much to do and it looked busy so would have probably taken ages to get through everyone ! I do usually stay and although I do find it a bit 'samey' it does give me the motivation and there are always quite a few good tips/ideas that crop up during the conversations.
