wI last night and STS. still it's not a gain!

Life kicking me in the teeth somewhat - eldest fely sick and ill last night (she has ME - please let this not be a setback), youngest is in the midst of the AS levels - Photography finishes today and all the written ones are next week - and she's at the weepy stage shouting I'm going to fail all the time.

And my * is playing hell - I'm so tired i want to go to bed but I suppose the GP's is the place to go.......

still we're doing our Man of the year next week - we only have 2 who stay to group so it's a 2 horse race! We're having a party to celebrate the end of our fundraising too - so hopefully it will be a good night.......

    So EE for me today:-
Porridge and fruit - HE A+B

ryvita, corned beef and salad and veggies - 2 syns, HEB
    activia yog and fruit

Fajita chicken - homemade salsa and salad - I have with baked spud - rest of the mob eat tortillas.

Wonder how many syns in a Guinness??? I suspect my iron levels are in desoerate need...
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

    Good Morning all :wavey:

Well done on those losses :T, and to those with itty bitty gains -you will whip them off again in no time ;)

ooooohhhhh it looks like we are on for doing a German car boot this Saturday (have to be there by about 5:30 ) , so I need to get sorted as we won't be able to take everything as we are taking the car as someone else has dibs on the van  ... so I need to go for the stuff that they reckon will sell best -so kitchen stuff, cook books etc, craft things. The jewellery stuff I have made won't take up any space -so I might settle down this afternoon and make some more bits ;). I just hope we raise some cash towards my trek. If it goes well then they have one every month so we can go again to get rid of the stuff we can't take this week,

Anyhoo -todays red carb curfew should go like this:-
    8am
    • 1/2 grapefruit
    • 28g oats (B)
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • banana

    • raspberries
    • activia (2.5)
    12pm
    • smoked haddock
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)- to roast
    • 198g parsnips (B)
    • carrots
    • onions
    • peppers
    4pm
    • melon
    • activia (2.5)
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 1tsp camp (0.5)
    7pm
    • crab meat/prawns
    • avocado (6)
    • lettuce
    • cucumber
    • tomato
    • peppers
    • raddish
    • onions
    • tickled cabbage
    • tickled onions
    • tickled beetroot
so that little lot comes to 2A+Bs and 12 syns dealt with :T -

I seem to be finding it much easier to use up my allowances now I have set structured times to eat -rather than allowing myself access to grazing through out the day. ANyway -I had better get off and give mum a call.. have a lovely day everyone!!!!

    Morning All,

Tried to post yesterday but broadband had a hissy fit!

    WI was Monday - gained 0.5lb :(

Disappointed as i had a really good week (apart from tuesday celebrating my last assignment handed in until i go back in sept! :o) but i had started exercise again & consultant saaid it could be water retention from my muscles!

Had a good day yesterday - only had 5 syns - which is good for me lately! :A

    Today is green

    B - Bacon & mushroom quiche (2 rashers in whole quiche & had 1/4 so 0.5syn)
S - Frozen cherries (defrosting now) & muller light
L - 'Fake' Chow mein (lots of mushrooms, onions, peppers, beans, sweetcorn, noodles & soy sauce)
D - Spanish tortilla with butternut squash, swede & hm wedges
S - 5 Scan Bran with white choc options quark (heb + 2), fibre plus bar (heb), milk in coffee (hea)

If i 'need' anything else i will have a couple of m&s mini (kiddies) gingerbread men @ 1syn each (fantastic you get 12 for 99p) They are scrummy  perfect biscuit fix - not too gingery either!

Going to go to supermarket on way home from work so that i can get myself some strawberries for snacking! I don't know why but i have gone off bananas recently  - considering i used to eat one most days! Anyone else gone off some foods since doing SW???

I AM going to go on my exercise machines tonight - brought some weights to use whilst on the bike - get the heart pumping a little more! :j

Got BIL wedding to go to on Saturday - already choosen the food - vege soup to start, roast chicken for main & choc torte for desert :o - not drinking so will save syns there!
Need to make sure i have a decent breakfast before we go - don't really want to go - don't like the girl he i marrying - she didn't invite me or MIL to hen do - even though i invited her to mine (had a seperate one for the 'oldies'!) & i let her bring her spoilt kid to the wedding! (cos she blackmailed into doing it!) I am a b***h aren't i??? lol

ETA: My brother got Man of the Year at our group monday - not surprising when he is the only man that stays!

And my consultant was going on about me becoming a consultant again - told her i need to get Uni done first & get to target!

    morning people!

Bad day yesterday for me :( I dunno what happened, well, i do. I didnt PLAN...and i always put my fruit and veg for the day on a plate in the fridge so i stay on track - which i ddint do gggrrr.

I didnt overdo the syns but didnt stick to the 1/3 superfrees. I ended up having new potatoes for my lunch! I love them, and the plan was to cook some for with dinner but to let them cool so i could have them cold with salad...anyway, i cooked them at lunch time and managed (somehow) to eat 3 portions of them at lunch time :( so that was lunch lol.

For dinner i had hm syn free burgers, wm barm with lots of salad and a delmonte ice lolly (5),Later on i found (and ate) a creme egg (8.5!!!) whats all that about - i never eat them!! Then i had some fruit later on. I did manage to not over syn, but i still feel like i let myslef down as i wasnt eating to plan.

Anyway, lesson learnt and today and tomorrow i am 2/3 superfree-ing to get back on track. Since starting the SW eating plan I always seem to feel pants when i dont eat right, so today i feel sluggish to boot!

    soooo... today is

    B fruit salad muller yogurt
L brown barm (HE) with egg salad - lots of salad! vlf mayo teaspoon (1syn)
D Rice with lots & lots of veg and chicken breast. Muller yogurt with strawbs, blackberries and grapes

SS milk (HE) teas and coffees

Snacks - fruit, fruit and urm...more fruit!

Tomorrow will be much the same i think.

I cant beleive how easy this plan is to follow, i know i say it every week lol, but it is! The best thing about it (imo) is the fact you really can hve anything - maybe there needs to be substitutions made, ie ff fromage frais instead of cream etc but its tastier, healthier and makes me feel loads better both physically and mentally :) Yay for SW i say :)

LAST bits of uni work are due in in the next 10days, so after that i have promised myself i will do some cross training, jjogging. Its not an excuse (honest!) but with 3 children, uni and everything else it seems to drop to the bottom of the list - esp this week with exmas etc

    Morning all.

Didn't eat the sausage yesterday after all, as when I went to cook them they were a week out of date . So I only had 5.5 syns yesterday. Back to EE again today:

    B: 2 slices melon, mullerlight
    S: Satsuma, apple
L: batchelors savoury rice, chicken, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, sweetcorn, watercress, el mayo (0.5), mullerlight
    S: Satsuma, hi-fi bar (HEB)
D: Lightly dusted river cobbler (6 I think), new potatoes, baby carrots, sugarsnap peas, baby sweetcorn, 1tsp lf butter (1.5), skinny cow lolly (3.5)

Could someone check the fish for me (it's tesco's) , as I haven't included the free element of the fish. Can't post the kcal values etc til I get home later. (I'm hoping it's less than 6 syns so I can have a biscuit of 2 later :D)

    Hi all,

Hugs to everyone that needs them.. trying to lose weight is hard enough if you have a stress free life let alone if you have to cope with issues and poorliness.. :grouphug:dodgy hugs...

I'm a carb junkie i'm afraid.. so this eating lifestyle suits me down to the ground, I find it quite hard to eat a lot of veg(but do eat fruit) so I mainly stick to green days. It's nice that there's a plan to suit everyone...

    Menu for today

    B - apple, yogurt, 0.5 choc weetabix (2 syns)
L - mug shot thing, potatoes, BNS
T - beef n butternut squash chilli (made with half quorn/half mince) HEB, potato wedges, salad
S - crisps (4) orange, apple, 2 ryvita fruit crunch for pudding (HEB)milk in tea HEA

I've found myself a new sweetness fix - Ryvita Fruit crunch - you're only allowed 2 for a HEB but they are quite thick so quite filling.. I fancied some biscuits last night - had these instead.. lovely.. :D

Primmer - have a lovely massage, sounds blissful

    Have a good day xx

    :hello:Hi Folks!

    Juliejim - :T:T:T:T Well done!!!

Alisont (?) - Thaks for the ice cream info :) I'm veggie (but not vegan) and I really love ice cream, I've seen this in our Asda so might treat myself this weekend :D

Very good day yesterday, I only had 4 syns:D mind you, that could have been because I had really bad indigestion all evening due to rushing me tea!

    Todays plan:

B: polenta, mushrooms, eggs, ketchup (1)
    S: Yoghurt, banana
    L: Salad, SW pasta quiche
S: More fruit if I need it and I have an oaty bar with me coz I'm on the train today so won't be home until late :(

D: More quiche or quorn sausage - I'll decide when I get in and as usual I'll save the HE's for supper.

Must tell you about my friend who is a lifelong WWer, she's always said she doesn't need any other diet as WW works for her! Anyway, she's had a few problems of late and has put a lot of weight on. Last night myself and some of the others in our dance class were discussing SW, when she suddenly buts in with

" It's brilliant!! I joined 3 weeks ago and I've lost 6lbs and I'm eating so much food! It's unbelievable and so easy to follow, wish I'd done it years ago!"

    A convert????

    Howdee Doodee Folks!!

Yes I'm back again. Very long, very boring story but suffice to say I CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO 'GO IT ALONE'!!

Nice to see some of the familiar face still around. Consultant31 with her ever sensible advice, Dizzy with her crazy, windy ways and erratic tank driving ( If she mentions rocky horrors when she sees that I've posted, don't believe a word she says, it's all lies, lol ;)). Wootball and his 'tell it like it is' approach ( I wish I could be a bit more like that) I also see Mrs M has gone from strength to strength in my absence, she's absolutely amazing ( I'd definitely like to be more like that!!). And lots of others, Betty, Blackberry, takeiteasy etc.
It's taken me ages to catchup on this thread and to pluck up courage to post but I'm so glad I did, I don't feel anywhere near as bad about my gains now and feel inspired to knuckle down and get this sorted. I'd like to say that I plan to post daily .......well I do plan to but if life gets in the way ............. Anyways onward and upward. I'm off to update my signature. I'll check in again soon. XX
