Afternoon all.
Today I'm going to try a green day for the first time:
B: Mullerlight, grapes, banana, tea with milk (0.5 HEA)
S: Satsuma
L: 28g Lf cheese (0.5 HEA), pasta, el mayo (1), lettuce, watercress, tomatoes, cucumber, sweetcorn, wm pitta (HEB)
S: Mullerlight, apple, raspberriesJacket potato, cheese (HEA) & beans, salad (as above but with extra beetroot, red onion & carrot. Skinny cow lolly (3.5)
S: Hi-fi bar (HEB)
So that's 2 A's, 2 B's & 4.5 syns so far. Just wondered if this is ok (if not I'll change to EE and syn the cheese later, and not have the hi-fi bar) and also if it is, could I have a lf sausage with my jacket later and syn it (4 syns)
Looks like a perfect green day to me, and I think it is ok to have a sausage and syn it, personally I don't do that as I feel it may sabotage my day, but I think in the SW rules you can. I am the same with my red days, I don't have a potato even though you can as a HEB, it just feels wrong somehow0 -

Hiya Emma
If you are after instant weight loss then you want something super extreme like cabridge or lighter life or something.
Losses tend to be around the 1lb, 2lb mark per week.
Are you following SW at the mo or just doing your own thing? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

That is pretty much what I have lost in roughly the same time, so I think you are on to a winner with SW. The thing I find with this way of eating is you don't feel you are dieting, starving or denying yourself of anything. You don't go hungry there is plenty of things to eat including treats so its easy to stick to. I find with any other diet I have done, I give up after so long, but with this I love it, and intend on staying with this way of eating forever! Its that simple0 -

I second that, I thought I was quite a healthy eater until I started this, and it has really opened my eyes. I find it especially useful keeping a note of what I eat. I lost 4lb in first week and 3 in second so it can be done!0 -

If you look at thr very first post on this thread, Consultant has explained things for us. That'll be a good substitute for the talk you'd get by going to a class for the first time. After that your mum's books will help and so will this thread.
I think the secret is that we eat lots but it's lots of good healthy foods. We cut down drastically on the things definitely not good for us (sugary, fatty, floury stuff) and because we eat lots we don't give in because we're hungry.
Just post up a menu for the day and we'll comment on how to tweak it to SW (if needed).:)0 -
Well ive worked all day to keep myself busy apart from popping to the fruit shop. Had a few good calls so lets hope its a busy night. I was going to work until 11, but decided a 9 o clock bedtime will get me back on track tomorrow. Food wise I have managed ok I think
B mixed summer berries and ff greek yoghurt and coffee (hea)
L 3 egg omelette with ham, mixed beans , flavoured water, grapes plum
D chana masala HM with veg added, and mixed rice with mushrooms n spring onions added.
Dessert is fresh mango, grapes and rasperries with a muller light.
I had a hobnob with my coffee earlier, and my son bought me a cream egg to cheer me up and i loved every last lick of it! So 11 syns in all today.
Il have my heb as alpen lites later with another coffee and possibly some more fruit.
Tomorrow is girly lunch wednesday so that should do me the world of good.0 -
Afternoon all - weigh in day today and have put on 0.5 lbs - Poo! Bum! and Pants! It's my first gain and I thought it hadn't been a bad week.
Never mind - I suppose its only half a pound (and I lost 3 last week:().
Today's food is .... (green as always)...
Breakfast - Oaty bar (B choice)
Lunch - Tesco Finest Moroccan couscous (2.5 syns), satsuma, grapes, strawberries
Snack - Hifi bar after grumpy WI! (B choice)
Tea - Mexican bake (free from SW mag) with cheese on top (A choice)
So that's 2 B choices, 1 A choice and 2.5 syns so far.
Will probably have some sugar fre jelly later whilst sulking about gain!
The dog is having an extra long walk tonight!0
