my problem is that i live in a rural area and i have to go to the other town.. the bus costs 4.50 return plus 4.95 fee for SW... i can not afford that every week right now as i am learning to drive and things are quite tight.
So all i want to know if i will be given all the necesary info to start straight away .
Hi Morocha!
Yeah go to your first class and you will get the starter pack which includes all the basic info on the plans. Oh and first class is double £9.95 to pay for pack so beware. Also you will get access to the SW website for a week or so which explains more (you will eventually get frozen out if you stop going to class) But you can always ask on here for syn values etc. I would suggest following EE, its by far the easiest plan IMO esp if your gonna go it alone. Good luck and you can always post your meals for the day if your unsure.
Hope that helps!0 -

Morocha, cant you get a referral from your doctor like I did and I know many others have, you get 12 weeks paid for to lose 10% of your body weight, if you succeed you get another 12 weeks free aswell. Ive lost half a stone in two weeks so doubt you would even need it all.
Thanks everyone for your kind words. I didnt sleep a wink unfortunately but gonna work from 9-12 and try and have an hour then log back in until 11pm. Worse part is I had to cancel Florida last year with 4 weeks to go as I developed a huge abcess which had to be packed for 10 weeks so I couldnt leave the country. Now he has cancelled this one last mnonth without even telling me! I am going to sit today and try all ways to rebook one, Il get a bank loan if I have to, I cant let the kids down a second time.
I dont feel like eating at all, but I will. Il have berries and yoghurt for breakfast and see how I get on.0 -
minstress, sorry about what happened, hope u dont mind but have you thought waiting for a last minute deal ? in HDUK wks ago before i went to Spain there was a deal to go to Cyprus 4* £125 pp with everything included i think it was.
SW has an offer £5 membership till 28 may, i dont think my doctor will give me a referal... i almost had to beg for a referal to the gym ( i have depression plus a bit of extra weight. he said i am ok, just a bit overweight) since i moved i can not go to the gym, it costs a fortune in travel costs. I am 10s.11 and 5f 3 ... i never seem to go below 10.9, but looking at the way you are eating( i have been lurking for a longggg time) i think i under eat then other days just eat rubbish...This plan in perfect for me, as i can not give up bread, pasta and rice...Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -
Hi people! Not read all the new posts, but will do at some point this morning
Well WI last night, 1lb off - i am happy with that as it was a 5 day WI week as class was moved last week.
Quick Q... i always track my progress on the SW website. The graph thingy that they have for projected future weight loss, how is that calculated? Is it based on all your weeks divided by weight loss to give average weekly loss, or does it go on the last weeks loss or what?
I find that graph really motivational but i am curious as to how it works, i dont want to set myself up for a fall iykwim? Its only week 7 for me so loss was quite big 1st few weeks so i dont want to see myself 'failing' according to the charts predicted loss0 -
Had a bad start to the week this week, partner has told me he has cancelled our florida holiday we are due to go on in 4 weeks, and has left me, I dont know how il tell the kids but il cross that bridge later in the week.
Lets hope I cant plaster a smile on and get through tomorrow!!
Oh minxtress, poor you. Hugs to you and the children. You will get through this..and we will be there with you. Hope he comes to his sense soon xxx0 -

Morning Lovely Ladies
Well done to the Monday Losers :T.....Good luck to the Tuesday Weighers
Minxtress, I can't imagine what you must be going through at the momentI think its a dirty low down stunt to pull on you and the children pulling the plug on the holiday in secret....especially in view of you having to cancel last year too  I hope you manage to sort something out hun, how old are the children?
Sending Hugs & positive vibes your way x x
Well I've Just received a last minute invite from a friend for lunch out todaywhich will be really nice for us both as its the 1st time she has been anywhere since her boyfriends funeral 2 months ago
and I've not really had chance to have a good talk with her for ages now away from here.
She has also chosen to go to the Toby Carvery:j so I can get away with having a flipping awesome meal well within my syns  and still be able to have my 2 syn choccie options drink at bedtime for the sweet craving
The rest of my Day will be EE But Ive no Idea what I will be eating for tea.....something light I would think seeing as I'm having a big lunch
I'll be back later x x0 -
Hi was thinking of joining my new local SW class. But have 1 question, is SW all about filling up on the carbs? I need a low carb aproach and all I see with SW is a lot of meals with pasta, rice, bread and potatoes or is this just the 'taster' menue?
ThanksFailure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!

Good luck on re-booking minxtress, if anyone can you can!;)
My menu for today:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, fried egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, HEA milk in teas
L: sandwich (probably Marmite and cucumber) and grapefruitchicken casserole with potatoes, butter beans, onion, leeks, carrots and mushrooms
Snacks: may have some extra fruit
I'm conscious that my sandwich lunches are getting a bit predcitable. Our consultant says we should aim for variety (not sure why exactly). Any views?
Oh and can anyone advise roughly how long a Muller needs in the freezer to get to ice-cream consistency? I've had two attempts: one I forgot about and was rock hard, the other I was too impatient and there were just a few cold bits around the edges.
Hav a lovely time at the Toby, dizzy and enjoy your time with your friend. I went there last week and still managed to lose but beware the roasties and stay away from the yorkshires!! I'll be looking, with interest, at your syn count later.0 -
