    You and me both Guns!
I have weighed this morning and have put on 3lbs:eek: according to my scales since I last weighed which was about 2 weeks ago.
Its not a surprise with the upheaval of exOH leaving, having decorators and workmen in for ages, being off work for 3 weeks and generally being a pig.

But it stops today! New week, new start and all that!

I will weigh again tomorrow as Tuesday was my usual day but I don't think it'll make a difference - I feel podgy again, not good:(

Right the dog is desperate to go out so I'd better get dressed and get some body magic going on!

Having an EE day to see how it goes.

Had a coffee already using milk from my A
    Breakfast 1 weetabix(3), milk(A), banana
Lunch HM lentil soup, 2 slices WM bread(B), ham, pickle(1), apple, pear
    Snack Melon, strawberries
Dinner chicken dupiaza with pilau rice(1), side salad

1 A+B and 5 syns so far. Will have either a kitkat or meringue later.

Does that look ok for EE? I'm usually a green girl and worry i dont eat enough SF on EE.

OH told me something he read earlier. A recent scientific study found that women find different male types attractive depending on where they are in their menstrual cycle.
For example, when a woman is ovulating she will prefer a man with rugged, masculine features.
However when she is menstruating, she prefers a man doused in petrol and set on fire, with scissors stuck in his eye and a cricket stump shoved up his backside.

Sorry, but it made be laugh :rotfl:. Hope you feel better soon.

oh that made me laugh! Thanks for posting that!

    My plan for EE day:

B: HEB porage with HEA milk, banana, tea
L: LO veg (sort of bubble&squeak), apple with cottage cheese
D: beef stir fry with loads of veg and noodles

The noodles are straight-to-wok but at only 1.5 syns between DH and myself I'm not going to worry to much, just fancied a chage from rice.
  • First gain of the journey :( only a pound though and deserved if i'm honest. Fell off the tank and then it came back and ran me over!! It has been really hard sticking to plan when i'm at home surrounded by food shouting "Eat Me" all day. Easing myself back into school today and shall do part time til September so hopefully i can get my diet routine back on track:

B - 2 weetabix and sk milk, rest of milk for tea (HEB+A)
    S - banana
L - SW quiche, salad stuff, s.cream (2) ff muller vanilla
S - pear, options hot choc (2) made with milk (HEA)
D - pasta, hm tom sauce with mushrooms, onions, peppers.

Hmm have another HEB so i may have somethingy meaty or cheesey in my pasta. So shift up the seat as i'm back on it. Only 49 Fridays til i get to put on that wedding dress.

    soup, wm bread (b)
    milk in tea (a)
    2 yogs
    fruit
spaghetti with olives and capers (1 for the olives)
a punnet from my graze box (4 ish)
    more fruit

And I may nibble a couple of babybels later should I feel the need.

Have a good evening all xx

I have had a sneaky weigh in just now and it seems, I have gained weight this week also. I am just not able to understand where I am going wrong . I have a wedding in second week of september and am now desperate to loose weight otherwise won't be able to fit in the dress I want to wear :o

I am definitely eating more than I used to before SW. Probably thats where I am going wrong.

Here is my meal plan for tomorrow

BF: 2 Weetabix, 250 ml SS Milk, 1 banana, 1 apple
    Lunch: Dyno rod soup
Dinner: 4 Ryvita crispbreads with mushroom, spinach and fromaige frais filling, served with grated carrot and cherry tomatoes
Supper: 250 ml SS Milkshake made with a drop or two of Vanilla essence
    Snacks: 1 pear, blackberries (100 g), strawberries (5-6), 1 nectarine, 15 grapes, 1 kiwi, Half small melon, 1 plum

2 HEA, 2 HEB and Syns(Whatever I fancy but will keep it below 10)

    MQ

I take it this is a Green day? You may be veggie but you should be having something in the way of protein (apart from milk) nuts, seeds, eggs etc. Changing your HEBs for something other than cereal/crispbread/bread may help with weight loss. You may find you are one of those people who hold extra fluid with those sort of 'stodgy' HEBs.

You've done really well with the fruit and veg (more like 15 a day) but if you could bulk out your lunch or dinner with, say, a jacket potato it may make a difference.

Don't be down-hearted, sometimes it takes a while to get to grips with what works for you, but at the end of the day, your new 'diet' is very healthy and you should be reaping the rewards with extra energy and beautiful skin, not to mention an awesome waste-disposal system :D
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Another weigh in and another miserly 1lb loss. I just don't get it. I was so good again...and even did a fair bit of exercise. Has anyone else had sucha slow start? Especially if thry want/need to lose a fair amount. I thought the first stone would fall off...but it hasn't picked up yet.
